Sootla Continues to Pressure

Level 3 : 400/800, 800 ante

Seeing a raise to 1,500 from Joris Ruijs on the button, Ranno Sootla responded with a three-bet to 7,000 from the small blind. Once the big blind folded, Ruijs also elected to return his cards to the dealer.

The very next deal, Kenneth Broad raised to 2,800 first to act, Sootla called on the button, and the blinds got out of the way.

The dealer spread a J46, and Broad continued with a check-call, when Sootla put 2,500 into the middle.

Sootla didn't slow down on the 4 turn, putting 7,500 into the middle. This time, his bet was enough to see Broad surrender the pot.

Sootla Says No to Limping

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

Kenneth Broad limped in for 600 on the button, which tempted Joris Ruijs to try and see a cheap flop, too. Ranno Sootla put an end to the fun, raising to 4,000 from the big blind, which saw both his opponents fold.

Pudel Takes from Sootla

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

Nils Pudel opened to 1,600 from under the gun, which only Ranno Sootla called in the big blind.

Sootla check-called a bet of 1,100 on the 2K9 flop, before leading out for 1,500 on the 2 turn. Pudel called.

The 8 river saw both players check. Sootla flipped over 97, which was no good versus the JJ of Pudel.

"I'm the King"

Level 1 : 200/500, 500 ante
Kenneth Broad
Kenneth Broad

Kenneth Broad opened to 1,100 from the cutoff, before calling a three-bet to 6,000 from Jonathan Proudfoot in the big blind.

Proudfoot continued for 10,000 on the 428 flop, and Broad wasted no time at all in calling.

The dealer added the 9 to the board, and, after using a time bank and studying his opponent's remaining stack, Proudfoot moved all in, with the covering stack.

Broad snap-called, and flipped his cards over.

Kenneth Broad: 98 All in
Jonathan Proudfoot: JJ

The 6 was no danger to Broad, as his two pair secured a double up.

"You can't scare me, I'm the king!", proclaimed Broad.

Ruijs Takes Another

Level 1 : 200/500, 500 ante

Joris Ruijs raised to 1,200 in the cutoff, which both Ranno Sootla and Kenneth Broad called, from the button and big blind, respectively.

Broad checked in flow on the 4K6 flop, and Ruijs continued for 1,100. True to early form, Sootla opted for aggression, raising to 4,000. Broad folded, but Ruijs called.

The action checked through on the J turn, and when Ruijs put 7,000 into the middle on the A river, Sootla returned his cards to the dealer, surrendering the pot.

Ruijs and Sootla Tangle Early

Level 1 : 200/500, 500 ante

When the action folded to Joris Ruijs in the small blind, he limped in before calling a raise to 2,000 from Ranno Sootla in the big blind.

The dealer spread a 775 flop, which saw Ruijs check and Sootla continue for 1,100. Ruijs responded with a check-raise to 6,500, and Sootla promptly folded.

The very next deal, Ruijs opened to 1,200 on the button, before folding to a three-bet of 5,500 from Sootla in the small blind.
