Kerrien Busts Fryda and Takes a Chunk Out of Halasi; Other Eliminations

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Andras Halasi, (big blind), short stack Victor Fryda (under the gun) and Clement Kerrien (early position) had their stacks committed preflop with Halasi as the covering stack.

Victor Fryda: {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Clement Kerrien: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Andras Halasi: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Kerrien was on the verge of a huge double up as well as removing a player in the process. His pocket kings did just that as the board ran out with the {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

Persent Eliminated by Dumas

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Jon Persent in the cutoff bet 50,000 and was met by Jordan Dumas's three-bet of 150,000. Persent made the call.

The flop came {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Persent fired for 60,000 taking the betting lead. Dumas raised to 200,000, and Persent made the call.

The {9-Clubs} on the turn prompted Persent to move all-in for 340,000 which was immediately called by Dumas.

Jon Persent: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Jordan Dumas: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Dumas's two-pair was better than Persent's, the {2-Diamonds} on the river did not change the outcome. Persent headed for the exit and Dumas scooped a massive pot to take the chip lead.

Back to Back Pots for Mielczarek

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Bartosz Mielczarek opened to 40,000 from early position and was called by Jasper van Moorsel in the cutoff.

Mielczarek check-called a bet a of 45,000 on the {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop and and then did this same for 90,000 on the {8-Diamonds} turn.

It was a trio of checks for the preflop raiser, opting to give his opponent the chance to bet on the {2-Hearts} river. Van Moorsel fired a third barrel of 155,000 and was snap-called. Mielczarek had the {a-Spades}{6-Spades} for flopped trips.

The very next hand Daryl Benton raised to 40,000 and then he called Mielczarek's 130,000 three-bet from the big blind.

Mielczarek continued for 90,000 on the {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and then decided to check-call a bet of 145,000 on the {5-Clubs} turn. The {2-Diamonds} river was checked through and Mielczarek tabled pocket queens to scoop the pot.

Sergi Trebles, Persent Wins Side, Luttke-Grech Eliminated

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Three players were all-in and covered by Jon Persent. Sabrina Sergi (33,000) and Gregory Luttke-Grech (121,000) were at risk.

Sabrina Sergi: {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Gregory Luttke-Grech: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Bundik Doubles Through Petruzzelli with Quads

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Norbert Bundik moved all-in from early position for 142,000 and was called by Federico Petruzzelli in the big blind.

Norbert Bundik: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Federico Petruzzelli: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Bundik cemented his position in the lead as the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs} gave him a set. The turn was an inconsequential {2-Clubs} and the {j-Spades} river rubbed salt in the wounds of Petruzzelli as Bundik improved to quads.
