Chati Busts Salter

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

They both didn't have great stacks, and clashed just now. Farid Chati ([AhKh} and Jack Salter ({Q-Diamonds}{K-Spades}) got their chips in and what was the best hand pre-flop, was also the best hand post-flop. Chati started stacking, MCOP side event winner Salter departed.

Hoefer Eliminated

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Lars Bonding opened for 5,600 under the gun plus one and from middle position, Paul Hoefer shoved for 8,000. Action folded to Martin Kabrhel who asked the dealer if it was a raise, or not. If it was, Bonding would have the option to raise again would Kabrhel call. If it wasn't, Bonding could only call or fold if Kabrhel would call.

The floor came over and told the table that it wasn't a raise and that Bonding could only call if someone else would call. Despite this information, Kabrhel folded. So did the rest, Bonding called.

Lars Bonding: {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Paul Hoefer: {4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Hoefer exited the tournament area.

Minten Doubles Through Van Brugge... Twice

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

After losing a pot to Michiel Brosky, Niek Minten was short. Now, not even half an hour later, all is good for him. Van Brugge, though, isn't sitting so comfortably anymore. The 2 Dutch players clashed twice.

1) Action folded to Kees van Brugge in the small blind and he jammed for 35,000 effectively in the previous level of 1,000/2,000. Big blind Niek Minten called with {K-}{9-Spades} offsuit and was lucky enough to hit a winning flush against the {A-}{6-} of Van Brugge.

2) In the new level of 1,200/2,400, Minten opened under the gun to 5,400. Action folded to Van Brugge in the big blind who 3-bet to 19,900. Minten 4-bet all in for 69,000 and Van Brugge called. Minten had {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and saw his hand hold up against the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} of Van Brugge.

(Small) Clash of the Titans

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Foeke Deinum and [Removed:564] are considered some of the best (online) players in the Netherlands, if not the world. The 2 friends just clashed in a battle of the blinds, but the blood shed was kept to a minimum

Action folded to Deinum in the small blind and he limped in. Big blind [Removed:565] raised and Deinum called.

Deinum then check-called a bet of 5,500 on {7-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} before checking again on the {10-Clubs} turn. [Removed:565] checked behind.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board and Deinum bet out for 17,500. [Removed:565] tanked for several minutes before sliding his cards into the muck.
