Reichenstein Gets Paid With Trips

Level 12 : 2,000/3,500, 3,500 ante

Bahram Chobineh raised to 7,000 from under the gun and was called by Uri Reichenstein in the small blind and an opponent in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades} and action checked to Chobineh, who continued for 12,000. Only Reichenstein called to see the {q-Clubs} on the turn.

Both players checked and the river came the {3-Spades}. Reichenstein now led out for 36,000 and Chobineh called after some deliberation.

Reichenstein turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for trip queens and Chobineh surrendered the pot.

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/3,500, 3,500 ante
Daniel Rezaei Hulya Seckin
Daniel Rezaei Hulya Seckin

There was an already meaty pot of 100,000 in the middle on a flop of {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. From the cutoff, Daniel Rezaei bet 50,000. Hulya Seckin raised to 150,000 from the button. Rezaei three-bet all in and Seckin called quickly.

Rezaei had the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} which was well ahead of the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} of Seckin. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and the river the {2-Clubs} to keep Rezaei ahead and give him the big-time pot.

Katykhin Calls Out of Turn, Pays Off Ivanov

Level 12 : 2,000/3,500, 3,500 ante

Mikhail Katykhin bet 4,000 from the button on a flop of {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Clubs} before Vladislav Ivanov raised to 12,000 in the small blind. Before the big blind could act, Katykhin put in the chips to call and the floor had to summoned to the table.

The big blind eventually folded and Katykhin's call out of turn stood as he and Ivanov went heads-up to the {j-Spades} turn. Ivanov bet another 35,000 and Katykhin called.

The river came the {9-Spades} and Ivanov fired out 45,000 this time. Katykhin again called and Ivanov turned over {k-Spades}{5-Spades} for two pair to win the pot.

Akgul Hits River Two-Outer to Survive

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Camille Brown raised to 6,000 from the cutoff. Demosthenes Kiriopoulos three-bet to 25,000 from the button. Huseyin Akgul shoved all in from the big blind. Brown folded and Kiriopoulos called.

Huseyin Akgul: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Demosthenes Kiriopoulos: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The flop came {6-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades}, the turn was the {2-Hearts} and the river was the {5-Hearts} to save Akgul. The two-outer could have just as easily been a blank based on the reaction of the players as neither one gave much of a reaction to the card. Nevertheless, Akgul gathered in his double up as he remained alive on Day 2.

Tatli Doubles Off Engelien in Massive Pot

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Hakan Tatli bet 40,000 from middle position before big blind Caspar Engelien raised to 100,000.

Tatli called and they saw the {3-Diamonds} fall on the river. He checked over to Engelien, who bet enough to put Tatli all in for his last 140,000. Tatli tanked for several minutes before he called.

Engelien turned over {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a bluff and Tatli showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} to earn the massive double up.

"Good river to do that with," a tablemate consoled Engelien after the hand.

"What am I bluffing with," Engelien said.

Dmitry Yurasov began the day as chip leader and has done nothing but steadily increase his stack so far on Day 2.

In his last hand, with around 95,000 already in the pot, Shay Koren bet 33,000 on a board of {4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Yurasov called in the big blind.

The river came the {q-Spades} and Yurasov checked to Koren again. Koren grabbed one of his chips and slammed it down on his stack, checking behind.

Yurasov turned over {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Koren flashed two tens before mucking as Yurasov is now over 800,000.

The board read {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. Action was on the river. Things moved quickly as Timur Tokhtabayev shoved all in and Kannapong Thanarattrakul snap-called and tabled the {2-}{2-} for the set.
