There were already around 150,000 chips in the pot on a 5♥2♦8♦Q♠J♣ board when Konstantin Voronin fired out 75,000. Paul Grummitt was the player facing the bet and didn't hesitate to call.
Voronin then showed J♦3♦ for second pair, but Grummitt had the winner as he turned two pair holding Q♥2♥.
After that pot, Grummitt's stack grew to around 1,000,000!
The completed board of 10♥Xx3♥7♦J♦ had already been dealt, and there were 150,000 chips in the middle when Vitalin Viuchenko put Vedat Yilmaz all-in for 110,000 from the big blind.
Yilmaz quickly called off, and doubled up when his 10♠7♠ beat the 10♦3♦ of Viuchenko at showdown.

Nichan Khorchidian opened from under the gun and got a call from the small blind and Iurii Saiapin in the big blind.
They went to a flop of 3♥K♠J♠ where it checked to Khorchidian, who slid out a bet of 10,000 with one finger. The small blind folded and Saiapin called.
Both checked the 2♥ turn and Saiapin tapped the table again when the J♣ hit the river. Khorchidian thought for a while and eventually checked back.
Saiapin then revealed he rivered trips with J♦5♥, and Khorchidian showed Q♣Q♦.
"I know their cards. I know how they play," said Khorchidian in reference to his check back.
A player in middle position made it 8,000 to go when Levente Szabo three-bet to 26,000 on the button. Middle position called to the 8♦2♠3♠ flop, where he saw Szabo continue for 30,000.
The player in middle position check-called, after which Szabo sized up to 56,000 on the 5♦ turn. The player in middle position then jammed all in for 142,500, which was enough to let Szabo fold his hand.
Adrian State was also at this table, playing about one and a half times the starting stack.
