There were already around 150,000 chips in the pot on a 528QJ board when Konstantin Voronin fired out 75,000. Paul Grummitt was the player facing the bet and didn't hesitate to call.

Voronin then showed J3 for second pair, but Grummitt had the winner as he turned two pair holding Q2.

After that pot, Grummitt's stack grew to around 1,000,000!

Khorchidian Correctly Checks Back

Level 4 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Nichan Khorchidian opened from under the gun and got a call from the small blind and Iurii Saiapin in the big blind.

They went to a flop of 3KJ where it checked to Khorchidian, who slid out a bet of 10,000 with one finger. The small blind folded and Saiapin called.

Both checked the 2 turn and Saiapin tapped the table again when the J hit the river. Khorchidian thought for a while and eventually checked back.

Saiapin then revealed he rivered trips with J5, and Khorchidian showed QQ.

"I know their cards. I know how they play," said Khorchidian in reference to his check back.

Szabo Folds to Shove

Level 4 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A player in middle position made it 8,000 to go when Levente Szabo three-bet to 26,000 on the button. Middle position called to the 823 flop, where he saw Szabo continue for 30,000.

The player in middle position check-called, after which Szabo sized up to 56,000 on the 5 turn. The player in middle position then jammed all in for 142,500, which was enough to let Szabo fold his hand.

Adrian State was also at this table, playing about one and a half times the starting stack.

Spinella Recovers Some From Ercan

Level 4 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

After being bluffed off a huge pot earlier by Mustafa Ercan, Anthony Spinella just got a small rebate.

Spinella opened the hijack and got a call from Ercan in the big blind to see a flop of A38, where Ercan check-called a bet of 8,000 from Spinella.

A 4 fell on the turn and after Ercan checked, Spinella fired again for 35,000. That was enough to earn him the pot as Ercan folded.
