Mouwad Triples, Mokrani Takes Side Pot Against Foggin

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Joseph Mouwad shoved for 158,000 from the cutoff and Marc Foggin called from the button. Mohamed Mokrani also came along from the big blind.

They went to a flop of 372 where Mokrani check-called a bet of 130,000 from Foggin, then the action checked to showdown on the 5Q runout.

Mouwad showed 77 for a set, Foggin showed 88 for pocket eights, and Mokrani tabled JJ. Mokrani's jacks were good for the side pot, and Mouwad tripled up after he claimed the main pot.

Pora Rivers Foggin

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Dumitru Pora
Dumitru Pora

It's been a rough last ten minutes for Marc Foggin as he just lost another pot.

Foggin raised to 20,000 from under the gun and Dumitru Pora shoved from the cutoff for around 160,000. When it got back to Foggin, he quickly called.

Dumitru Pora: A9 All in
Marc Foggin: AK

Pora was behind but liked the look of the 10J6 flop as he gained a plethora of outs. A 3 on the turn was no good, but the 9 river gave him a pair and a double-up.

Shcherbakov's Stack Dwindling

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

There were around 400,000 chips already in the pot on a board of 23735 when Kirill Shcherbakov checked it over to Oleg Ustinovich, who fired a small bet of 80,000. Shcherbakov snap-called.

Ustinovich then revealed trips with J3, and Shcherbakov mucked.

It's been a rough start of Shcherbakov, who started the day as chip leader, but has lost over two thirds of his mountain and only has around 500,000 chips remaining.

Apartoglou Gets Off Cheaply

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Spyridon Apartoglou opened from under the gun to 24,000 and Fredrico Senno made it 75,000 to go from the next seat. When the action got back to Apartoglou, he called.

They saw a flop of 410J where Apartoglou check-called a bet of 40,000 from Senno to see the 6 turn. Again, Apartoglou went into check-call mode when Senno fired 90,000.

The river brought a 3 and both players quickly checked it down. Apartoglou showed QQ, but Senno held KK to take the pot.
