Wilson Cracks Harder's Aces on Soft Bubble

Brock Wilson opened to 8,000 from middle position and Christian Harder three-bet to 22,000 from the hijack. Wilson clicked it to 36,000 and Harder made the call.

The flop came Q♠Q♥8♠. Wilson bet 15,000, Harder shoved for around 60,000 and Wilson called with a covering stack to put Harder at risk.

Brock Wilson: A♥Q♦

Wilson was a huge favorite with trip queens while Harder only had one out to extend his tournament life. He could not find the case ace when the rest of the board ran out 3♠7♥ and was sent to the rail just a couple spots shy of making the money while Wilson claimed the last of his chips.

Yayun Liu jammed for his remaining 28,000 from under the gun and was called by Cole Ferraro in the small blind.

Liu was in great shape to double two from the money before the K♣Q♣J♣ flop brought the maximum sweat. Ferraro had a flush draw and paired his queen. However, the 3♥ turn and 8♦ river bricked out and Liu survived.

De Leon Flops the Goods to Double Off Moses

Christian De Leon raised to 8,000 in early position and David Moses three-bet to 20,000 in the cutoff. De Leon called and the flop came A♣9♣5♣.

Moses continued for 10,000 and De Leon raised to 30,000. Moses called to see the 10♣ turn, where De Leon bet 86,000 leaving just one 1,000 chip behind.

Moses spent several minutes muttering to himself as he agonized over the decision. He eventually raised and De Leon tossed in his last chip.

De Leon showed Q♣J♣ for a flopped flush and Moses was already drawing dead holding 8♦8♣. The river was the A♠ and De Leon doubled up.

Buckenmayer was dominated but he got a little help when the Q♣3♥K♥ flop paired his king. However, he needed another to stay alive. Unfortunately for him, the 7♥ turn wasn't what he was looking for and neither was the Q♠ river.

"Good game, Bob," another player at the table offered as Buckenmayer collected his things and exited the tournament floor.

Jim Collopy from early position and Brian Yoon from the button were heads up to a turn with the board reading A♦8♥2♦6♣. Collopy check-called a bet from Yoon.

With around 60,000, Collopy checked again on the A♠ river. Yoon put together a bet of 60,000 which sent Collopy deep into the tank. After around two minutes, he decided to throw in calling chips and he got the bad news immediately as Yoon tabled A♣4♣ for trip aces were enough to drag a sizeable pot shortly after dinner to leave Collopy short.
