Coleman Raises Nuwwarah on the River

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

David Coleman raised to 8,000 on the button and Mo Nuwwarah and Gregor Sverko called in the blinds.

Coleman continued for 6,000 on the AA5 flop and only Nuwwarah called. Both players then checked the 9 turn.

The river was the 9 and Nuwwarah led out for 26,000. Coleman then raised to 56,000 and Nuwwarah quickly folded.

Pupillo Building a Monster Stack

Gregor Sverko opened to 8,000 from middle position and Nick Pupillo called from the cutoff before Curt Kohlberg three-bet to 31,000 from the small blind. Sverko got out of the way before Pupillo made the call.

The flop came K34 and Kohlberg bet 15,000. Pupillo made the call.

Both players then checked the 5 turn and J river. Kohlberg showed ace-high with A8 while Pupillo had a pair with 88 to take the pot.

In a preflop confrontation Veselin Dimitrov was all in from the hijack for 30,000 and up against Mo Nuwwarah who was under the gun with a covering stack.

Brian Lee survived the bubble with 30,000 and moved all in from early position. Action folded to Jonathan Borenstein in the big blind who quickly called.

Borenstein had Lee dominated with his jacks and improved to a set on the KJ3 flop. The rest of the board came 2Q and Lee was among the first to head off to the payout desk.

Lipton Pays Off Konnikova

With two players seeing a board of J2AK6 and around 60,000 in the middle, Chad Lipton checked from the small blind and Maria Konnikova bet 58,000 from the button. Lipton made the call.

Konnikova showed the second nut-flush with Q9 which was enough to take down a sizable pot.
