Kohlberg Bets Out Mugar

Heads-up on a flop of 10K5, Curt Kohlberg bet 25,000 from the hijack and Peter Mugar called in the big blind.

The turn was the Q and Kohlberg bet 60,000. Mugar again called and the 10 fell on the river. Kohlberg then bet 160,000.

Mugar used three time banks as he counted out the chips to call, but he eventually decided to fold and Kohlberg took the pot.

Baker Claims Another Scalp

Matthew Wantman opened to 40,000 from under the gun before David "ODB" Baker three-bet to 115,000 from the hijack. In the cutoff, Eric Blair jammed for his remaining 330,000. Wantman tanked for a bit before he folded before Baker snapped it off.

It was a cooler scenario with Baker having the best of it. The K105 flop changed nothing but the A turn doubled Blair's outs. However, the 4 on the river sealed the elimination as Blair hit the exit in 32nd.
