Le Leaves Dube on Fumes

Nguyen Le raised to 185,000 in the hijack, leaving one 5,000 chip behind, and Mark Dube shoved in the small blind. Le then tossed in his last chip.

Le had Dube dominated and held on through the 104377 board to double up and leave Dube with just two big blinds going to dinner break.

Li Survives a Big Flip Against Frasca

Yang Li raised to 35,000 in the cutoff and Brian Frasca three-bet to 165,000 in the small blind. Li then moved all in for 455,000 and Frasca snap-called.

The flop came A97 as Li took the lead with a pair of aces. The rest of the board ran out 46 and Li doubled up.

Cowboys for Mugar

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Peter Mugar opened to 30,000 from under the gun and Marco Johnson called from the small blind.

The flop came 884 and Johnson check-called a 25,000 bet from Mugar.

Johnson check-called another bet from Mugar on the 10 turn, this time for 70,000.

On the 3 river Johnson led out with a 35,000 bet. Mugar made the call.

Johnson had two pair with 99 but Mugar had him beat with KK to take the pot.

Li couldn't pull in front as the board ran out 5Q810J to mark his elimination.

Liperis was down to three big blinds earlier in the day but has managed to spin his stack up.

Marchington Doubles Through Le

Nguyen Le opened to 30,000 from the cutoff and Maria Konnikova called on the button. In the small, blind, Nick Marchington jammed for 190,000, Le rejammed for 305,000, and Konnikova folded.

Marchington was in good shape to double and it stayed that way on the 775104 runout as he got the full double and left Le on fumes.

Konnikova Can't Bet Out Affleck

Maria Konnikova and Matt Affleck went heads-up to a flop of 953 where Konnikova led out for 20,000 in the big blind. Affleck called on the button.

Both players checked the A turn. The A fell on the river and Konnikova bet another 40,000. Affleck quickly called.

Konnikova turned over 82 for eight-high and Affleck showed 88 to win the pot.

Lapka Spikes the Turn to Double Through Abreu

Andre Abreu opened to 30,000 from the cutoff and Justin Lapka three-bet shoved for 310,000 from the big blind. Abreu called with a covering stack to put Lapka at risk.

The board ran out 10JJA5 giving Lapka aces up to secure the double through Abreu.
