Further down the leaderboard are Joey Weissman (105,000), Jeff Platt (79,000), 2024 world champion Jonathan Tamayo (59,000), Michael Wang (45,000), Chris Moorman (34,500), PokerStars Team Pro Kenny Hallaert (30,000), and Adam Hendrix (18,000).

The four starting flights saw 852 players take a shot at the title. Late registration remains open until the start of the day, so there is a possibility the field grows even larger before the official prize pool is announced.

The action on Day 2 picks up on Level 11 with blinds of 1,000/1,500 and a 1,500 big blind ante. Ten 60-minute levels will be played today, with a break after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 16 around 6:30 p.m.

The PokerNews team has also arrived in Las Vegas to cover the action, so stay tuned throughout the day for live updates.
