Alegado Pushes Out Hall

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Francis Alegado raised to 4,000 in the hijack, Beth Hall three-bet to 10,000 on the button, and Alegado called.

Both players checked the 88A flop. Alegado then bet 12,000 on the J turn, and Hall called.

Alegado moved all in for 40,000 on the 7 river, and Hall quickly folded. "Hit your three-outer, did you?" Hall asked him after the hand.

Adam Hendrix and Bobby James are also seated at this table.

Hunichen Flashes One

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Chris Hunichen raised to 4,500 in early position and Amir Marimar defended from the big blind. The flop came A93 and Marimar check-called a bet of 4,000 from Hunichen.

The turn brought the 8 and Marimar checked again. Hunichen splashed in a bet of 14,000 and Marimar stuck around for the Q on the river. Marimar checked for the third time and Hunichen sized up a bet of 44,000, a good portion of Marimar's remaining stack.

Marimar mulled it over for a couple of minutes but ultimately decided to lay his hand down. Hunichen responded by showing the J as he raked in the pot.

"Jack-ten of diamonds?" Marimar questioned. "I folded two pair."

Shin Brings an End to Sued's Day

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A completed board of A745Q was spread across the felt with around 67,000 in the middle. Byung Shin started with a check and Kharlin Sued dropped in a bet of 24,000 on his left.

Shin carefully pushed out his remaining stack of chips, enough to put Sued to the test for his remaining 35,000. Sued went into the tank for a couple of minutes but eventually called it off. Shin turned over AQ for two pair while Sued tabled AJ for just a pair of aces.

Heads-up on a flop of 1048, Anatoly Nikitin bet 11,000 from early position before Robert Burlacu moved all in for 76,000 in the big blind. Nikitin confirmed the amount, then called to put Burlacu at risk.

Robert Burlacu: A10 All in
Anatoly Nikitin: KK

Burlacu showed top pair, but he needed to improve against Nikitin's kings to stay alive. The rest of the Q2 board was no help, and Burlacu was sent to the rail.

Johan Schumacher happened to walk past the table just as the hand was finishing and asked Burlacu how he was doing. "Actually, I just busted," Burlacu informed him.

"Bad timing," Nikitin added as all three players shared a laugh.

Battistone Can't Get It Through

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Brian Battistone raised to 4,000 in the hijack and was called by Joseph Bartholdi on the button. The flop came Q104 and Battistone continued with a bet, which Bartholdi called.

The 4 paired the board on the turn and Battiston fired out another bet. Bartholdi still called and the 8 completed the board. Battiston unleashed a third barrel, this one for his remaining stack of 43,500. Bartholdi gave it some thought and then called off his stack of 43,000.

Battistone quickly turned over AK for just ace-high while Bartholdi held AQ to claim the pot and a double up, leaving Battistone with just 500 chips. He was eliminated shortly after.

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Adam Walton
Adam Walton

Picking up the action on the turn with around 20,000 in the middle, Nadya Magnus and Adam Walton were heads-up on a board of Q63J. Magnus led out with a bet of 17,000 and Walton pushed all in for 53,000. Magnus gave it some thought and then eventually made the call.

Adam Walton: QJAll in
Nadya Magnus: K10

Walton turned two pair to go with his flush draw but Magnus had the better flush draw and a straight draw to go with it. The river was the K which paired Magnus but it was not enough to overcome the two pair of Walton, leaving Magnus with just a few big blinds.
