Stephen Song

Paul Gunness moved all in for 25,500 from the big blind on a flop of 1097 and Stephen Song called in the cutoff.

Paul Gunness: 107 All in
Stephen Song: K10

Gunness had flopped two pair to take the lead over Song's top pair, and the 3 turn left him a card away from a double up. The river, though, was the K and Song made kings and tens to win the pot and send Gunness to the rail.

"That's why he's the great one. I felt it coming," Gunness joked with Song as he made his exit.

Jared Jaffee was the overall chip leader coming into the day with over 12 starting stacks to kick things off. Jaffee raised to 3,500 in early position and was called by the cutoff. Brittany Spain ripped all in for 13,000 in the small blind and Jaffee was the only one to look her up.

Jared Jaffee: KJ

The board ran out 853410, which connected with neither player, giving Spain a double up with ace-high.

"Can't win a f***ing hand," Jaffee joked after taking a small hit to his stack in the early going.

The action on Day 2 picks up on Level 11 with blinds of 1,000/1,500 and a 1,500 big blind ante. Ten 60-minute levels will be played today, with a break after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 16 around 6:30 p.m.

The PokerNews team has also arrived in Las Vegas to cover the action, so stay tuned throughout the day for live updates.
