Jack Hardcastle and Fred Li were heads-up in the blinds going to a flop of 10♦4♦3♠. They each stuck in 27,000 chips on the flop and the K♠ rolled off on the turn.
Hardcastle checked to Li who bet 23,000 and Hardcastle stuck around for the A♥ on the river. Hardcastle checked again and Li announced all in for roughly 85,000. Hardcastle instantly sent his cards to the muck and Li raked in the pot.
Ryan Tosoc opened to 10,000 in early position and was called by Darrin Oremba on his left. Aaron Massey three-bet to 30,000 in the hijack and Murtaza Muzar four-bet to 115,000 out of the big blind. Both Tosoc and Oremba folded but Massey responded with a five-bet to 200,000. Muzar just called and they were off to a flop of 8♣6♣4♠.
Muzar checked to Massey who announced all in for the rest of his 185,000 chips. Muzar asked for a count and then went into the tank for over a minute before sticking in some chips to call.
Aaron Massey: A♠A♦
Murtaza Muzar: J♠J♣
Massey was well out front with his pocket aces and the 7♥, Q♣ runout brought no help to Muzar who was eliminated shortly after.
Mir Gaskari raised to 10,000 in early position, Michael Rossitto three-bet to 30,000 in middle position, and Gaskari called.
The flop came 7♣6♥2♥ and Rossitto bet 13,000. Gaskari then raised to 32,000, and Rossitto called.
The turn was the 9♠ and Gaskari bet another 30,000. Rossitto then moved all in, and Gaskari tanked for several minutes before calling for his last 80,000.
Rossitto turned over 6♠6♣ for a set, while Gaskari showed J♦J♥. The river was the 10♣ and Rossitto took the pot to send Gaskari to the rail.
At another table, a massive pot was brewing between Miquel Maimes and Rex Clinkscales. Maimes had pushed all in for 200,000 from early position on a flop of 5♠10♣8♠, and Clinkscales snap-called on the button.
Miquel Maimes: A♣10♠
Rex Clinkscales: 5♣5♥
"Wow, I'm dead," Maimes said even before the cards were revealed. His top pair was far behind Clinkscales' flopped set, and the Q♣ turn and Q♠ river improved Clinkscales to a full house to send Maimes to the rail.
Frank Lagodich opened to 10,000 in middle position and Tyler Montoya called on his left. The rest of the table folded and they went heads-up to a flop of A♦10♦9♦. Lagodich continued with a bet of 8,000 and Montoya just called.
The turn was the Q♣ and Lagodich fired out another bet of 12,000. Montoya clicked it back with a min-raise to 24,000 and that proved to be enough as Lagodich released his cards to the muck.
Stephen Song raised to 11,000 on the button and Benjamin McKevitt three-bet to 37,000 in the small blind. Song called and they saw a flop of Q♠7♦8♣.
McKevitt then continued for 15,000, and Song raised to 40,000. McKevitt came back with an all-in shove for 120,000. "Alright," Song said as he sighed and put in the chips.
Benjamin McKevitt: K♠K♥
Stephen Song: K♦Q♣
Song had flopped top pair, but he needed to improve against McKevitt's kings. The board ran out J♣9♣ and McKevitt doubled up.
"Oh, wow. I thought the maniac got there," tablemate Brandon Zuidema said.
Loic Dobrigna opened to 10,000 in middle position and Jared Jaffee three-bet to 32,000 on his left. Oddie Dardon was in the small blind and moved all in for around 200,000. Dobrigna contemplated before folding but Jaffee didn't hesitate before making the call.
Oddie Dardon: A♥Q♣
Jared Jaffee: K♥K♣
"Fair fight," Dardon joked as he faced an uphill battle. The board ran out 8♦6♥4♥J♠5♥ and Dardon was unable to connect with anything, vaulting Jaffee near the 1,000,000 chip mark.
On the first hand after the bursting of the bubble, Jon Kyte raised to 10,000 under the gun, then called when David "ODB" Baker shoved for 31,000 on the button.
David "ODB" Baker: K♠Q♠
Jon Kyte: 5♠5♥
The flop came 10♦7♦7♠, while the 10♣ turn counterfeited Kyte's pair and gave Baker the lead with king-high. The river was the 8♣ and Baker doubled up.
