Lagodich Fills Up on Yunis; Yi Sends Out Longo

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Nick Yunis bet 30,000 from the cutoff on a board of 855 before Frank Lagodich raised to 60,000 in the big blind. Yunis called and the 9 fell on the turn.

Lagodich then bet 33,000 and Yunis again called. The 9 river was checked down, and Lagodich showed J5 for a full house to win the pot.

At another table, Claire Longo had moved all in for her last 60,000 from the hijack and Jae Yi put her at risk under the gun.

Jae Yi: AJ

The 4Q678 board was no help to Longo, and Yi took the pot with his jack-kicker to send her to the rail.

"Do something good with them," Longo said to Yi as her chips were pushed over to him.

"Like give them to me," tablemate John Sacha added.

O'Hara Gives Up on the River

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ian O'Hara raised it up in middle position and Jack Hardcastle just called from the cutoff. They went heads-up to a flop of KQ2 and O'Hara continued with a bet of 18,000, which Hardcastle called.

The turn was the 3 and O'Hara sized up a bet of 52,000 this time. Hardcastle still called and the 9 completed the board. O'Hara opted to check this time and Hardcastle quickly knuckled it back. O'Hara tabled A8 for a missed flush draw and Hardcastle showed AQ for the lone pair.

Andrew Moreno
Andrew Moreno

Andrew Moreno three-bet to 37,000 in the small blind before Jonathan Wang moved all in for 130,000 on the button. Moreno snap-called.

Moreno had Wang dominated, but the Q98 flop gave Wang straight and flush draws. The 9 turn was no help to Wang, while he also whiffed the 5 river and headed to the rail.

"I didn't think I was going to win that one," Moreno said.

"You deserved it," another tablemate added.

"Don't use the 'd' word at the poker table," Moreno replied.
