Baurzhan Akimov opened to 60,000 from under the gun and was called by Jesse Yaginuma in the cutoff. The flop came 8♣2♥2♦ and Akimov continued with a bet of 90,000. Yaginuma called and the 5♦ landed on the turn.

Akimov fired out another bet of 175,000 and Yaginuma stuck around for the A♠ on the river. Akimov checked this time and Yaginuma slid out a hefty portion of his stack for a bet of 400,000. Akimov dipped into the tank, using three of his time banks, before finally releasing his cards to the muck.
