On a board of 9♠10♥5♠9♣6♥, there were around 30,000 in the middle when Mehdi Chaoui was seen with 48,000 in front of him from the hijack and Salah Assi had shoved 118,500 out of the small blind.
Chaoui was deep in the tank and burning through time bank after time bank before he eventually decided on a call.
"Full," said Assi as he flipped over a boat with 10♦9♥. Chaoui mucked but the dealer revealed he had made the call with a straight holding 8♥7♥.
Elsewhere, despite getting that small double-up, Sirzat Hissou couldn't hang on and he was eliminated.

Aliaksei Boika raised the hijack to 3,500 and Sirzat Hissou three-bet to 10,000 from the button. Boika called to see the 10♣Q♦4♣ flop, where he check-called a bet of 13,000 from Hissou.
A 4♥ paired the board on the turn and after Boika checked, Hissou bet 35,000. Boika used some extra time before he raised to 80,000, then Hissou shoved. Boika rechecked his cards and called for his stack of around 200,000.
Aliaksei Boika: 5♠4♠
Sirzat Hissou: A♠Q♥
Boika had turned trips and just needed to fade a queen on the river to get the full double-up. Hissou couldn't find what he was looking for as the 9♥ filled out the board, which left him with 9,500 in his stack.
Shortly after, Hissou shoved from the hijack and Stoika called in the big blind.
Sirzat Hissou: K♦10♥
Aliaksei Boika: 10♣9♠
Boika flopped a straight on the 7♥6♠8♥ flop, but Hissou backdoored hearts on the 2♥6♥ runout to keep himself in contention.

Aleksandr Chernikov opened to 3,500 from under the gun and Danilo Velasevic called in the cutoff. Aram Sargsyan called in the small blind, and Viacheslav Buldygin came along from the big blind.
They saw a flop of J♥K♥6♣, which checked to Chernikov, who fired out 7,000. Two folds followed and Buldygin put in the call to the J♦ turn, where both checked.
A 6♦ fell on the river and Buldygin announced a bet of 42,000, which was enough to get Chernikov to fold.
Despite taking down that pot, Buldygin is down from the starting stack and has around 200,000 in front of him.

Sirzat Hissou had a three-bet of 15,000 out in front of him from the big blind, which only Artsiom Lasouski had called from the cutoff.
The flop came 6♣10♥3♠ and Hissou continued with a bet of 10,000, which Lasouski called to the 3♦ turn. Hissou showed no signs of slowing down and threw out 22,000, which was enough to get Lasouski to relent.

In a three-bet pot on a board of 5♣A♣8♦, there were 23,000 in the pot when Viacheslav Buldygin checked from the cutoff. Nenad Dukic knuckled back to the 6♣ turn from the button, where again both players checked.
When the Q♣ hit the river, Buldygin fired out 16,000, which Dukic called after almost 30 seconds. Buldygin quickly mucked without showing, and Dukic claimed the pot without revealed his cards.
