Schulman Doubles Through Ketzer

Level 13 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Nick Schulman
Nick Schulman

Nick Schulman shoved 265,000 in from under the gun and Felipe Ketzer reshoved from the button for around 400,000.

Nick Schulman: KJ All in
Felipe Ketzer: 77

It was a fair fight, and it remained in the balance after the QQ9 flop as Ketzer's pair stayed ahead, but Schulman picked up a plethora of outs. One of those came in on the 10 turn as Schulman made a straight, but he needed to avoid queens and sevens on the river to secure the double-up.

The 3 brought no sweat, and Schulman doubled to around 580,000.

Flashback: Boris Kolev Dominates 2025 Merit Millions Final Table

Level 12 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Boris Kolev
Boris Kolev

Back in April, the inaugural $10,400 Merit Millions Event saw Boris Kolev rising above a talented field of 212 entries to become the first-ever champion. Held inside the stunning Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa, the unique event ended with Kolev capturing the coveted title and the massive $1,000,000 guaranteed top prize.

Kolev, who began the final table third in chips, put on a clinical display to systematically dismantle his opponents on the way to victory. In doing so, he became the first player in Merit Poker history to walk away with a seven-figure payday. The Bulgarian pro made quick work of Mehdi Chaoui in a brief heads-up battle to seal the title and etch his name in the record books.

Adamszki Falls to Savenkov

Level 12 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Tamas Adamszki raised the cutoff to 32,000 and Alexey Savenkov three-bet to 75,000 from the button. Adamszki then shoved around 300,000, and Savenkov quickly called.

Tamas Adamszki: 77 All in
Alexey Savenkov: QQ

Adamszki was behind to the overpair of Savenkov, and found no way to catch up as the 310Q9K runout left him on the sidelines.

Santerne and Teusl Both Hit the Rail

Level 12 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Thomas Santerne
Thomas Santerne

Jessica Teusl's run came to an end as she was eliminated by Gregoire Auzoux, whose stack grew to around 1,150,000 after the hand.

Elsewhere, "Dubai Police" just won a monster pot to eliminate Thomas Santerne.

The hand was recalled where Santerne opened from under the gun to 25,000 and "Dubai Police" three-bet to 65,000 in the hijack. Santerne then four-bet to 140,000, which was called by his opponent.

They went to a flop of 4J2, where Santerne bet 110,000 and "Dubai Police" called to see the 9 fall on the turn. Santerne fired again, this time for 120,000, then "Dubai Police shoved". Santerne called for his stack of 450,000 total.

Thomas Santerne: QQ All in
"Dubai Police": K10

Santerne was ahead with his pair of queens, and just needed to dodge a queen on a king on the river to drag in the monster pot. However, the sick K rolled off on the river, which ended Santerne's run.
