Schumacher Collects the Last of Chouity's Stack

Level 8 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Nicolas Chouity had his short stack of just a few big blinds in the middle from the big blind, with both Sirzat Hissou and Yannick Schumacher in the pot.

The flop brought 4910 and Schumacher fired out 50,000 from the small blind. Hissou quickly folded and showed AxKx as he did so.

Nicolas Chouity: 95 All in
Yannick Schumacher: JJ

Chouity did have outs, but he couldn't find any of them as the 22 runout sent him to the rail with around an hour to go until registration closed.

Level 8 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Alexander Zubov
Alexander Zubov

Alexander Zubov recalled his elimination hand where he lost his chips to Sebastian Gahl.

According to Zubov, Gahl opened and Zubov three-bet to 42,000 from the small blind. Gahl then made it 90,000 before Zubov shoved, Gahl quickly called.

Alexander Zubov: AK All in
Sebastian Gahl: KK

Zubov needed to find an ace, but there were none to be seen on the 65439 runout, which meant he was eliminated. The Russian player went on to say he is on a streak of around 35 live tournaments in a row without a cash!

Chaoui Bets Twice to Make Robovic Fold

Level 8 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Mehdi Chaoui had opened from under the gun and Andrija Robovic called in the small blind.

They went to a flop of 1033, where Robovic check-called a bet of 15,000 from Chaoui to see the 8 fall on the turn.

Robovic checked it over again, and then Chaoui bet 42,000. That was enough to get the job done as Robovic folded.

Chouity Thinks Hissou Runs So Good

Level 7 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Nicolas Chouity
Nicolas Chouity

Adrian Strobel made it 11,000 to go from the hijack and Nicolas Chouity called in the small blind. Sirzat Hissou was in the big blind and bumped it up to 45,000, which got Strobel to fold, but Chouity called.

They saw the J24 flop and both checked to the 5 turn, where Chouity checked and Hissou bet 55,000. Chouity called.

A K hit the river and after Chouity checked it over for a third time, then Hissou fired out 80,000. Chouity had around 220,000 behind and started burning through his time banks to try and come to a decision. Eventually, he called.

Hissou then flipped KQ for a rivered pair of kings, and Chouity mucked.

"You run so good," stated Chouity to Hissou after the hand.

Jamil Wakil

Jamil Wakil limped in from the small blind and Danilo Velasevic checked his option in the big blind.

They went to a flop of 286, where Wakil check-called a bet of 9,000 from Velasevic.

The action then slowed down as both players checked to showdown on the 5A runout, where Wakil showed 95 for a pair of fives to claim the pot.

Wakil just finished second in the $10,400 GG Million$ for a huge score of $650,000, and is back on the hunt for more in the SHRS Main Event.

Ding Quick to Get Involved

Level 7 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Biao Ding just took his seat and got involved straight away.

Ding raised to 10,000 from the cutoff and Yannick Schumacher called on the button. Sirzat Hissou also called from the big blind.

The flop came out 392, which checked to Schumacher, who bet 13,000. Hissou folded quickly, but Ding put in the call to see the 4 turn. Both checked, as they did on the 10 river, and Ding showed AQ for ace-high.

That was no good, though, as Schumacher held 53 for a pair of threes to win the pot.
