Hallert Gets Even Shorter

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

First to act, Kenny Hallaert raised to 2,000 and called a three-bet by Moritz Dietrich for 5,100 in total. Both players checked the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{10-Spades} flop and Hallaert chek-called a bet of 3,500 on the {J-Hearts} turn. The {J-Spades} river was checked through again and Hallaert showed {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Dietrich had that beat with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and Hallaert joked "you had my outs."

Another One For Gruissem

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Gruissem drags another pot away from Manig Loeser
Gruissem drags another pot away from Manig Loeser

We join the action in a hand between Manig Loeser, Philipp Gruissem, and Jonathan Wong, looking at an {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop, with 11,000 in the middle.

Gruissem bet 6,000, with Wong making the call, before Loeser announced a check-raise to 21,000. Gruissem thought for a while before putting in the call, and Wong quickly folded.

The {2-Clubs} landed on the turn and both players checked, before the {3-Diamonds} hit the river. Loeser checked over to Gruissem, who bet 21,000 and was called immediately. Gruissem confidently tabled {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} for flopped bottom set, while Loeser passed his cards face-down to the dealer.

The Size That Matters

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Petr Liesner raised to 2,600 and Sander van Wesemael three-bet to 6,200. Once the action was on Moritz Dietrich, he four-bet to 16,000 on the button and that forced out everyone. Hossein Ensan had to forfeit his big blind and is among the shortest stacks right now.

Wim Neys made it 2,200 to go from the cutoff and Ismael Bjoang shot back with a three-bet to 7,000 from the small blind. Neys called and immediately faced a bet worth 10,000 on the {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}, which was enough to force a fold from the Belgian.

Bojang Rising

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ismael Bojang was the last player to enter so far, and he just took on 2016 November Niner Vojtech Ruzicka. Bojang bet the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} turn for 7,000 into a pot of 6,500 and Ruzicka called. After the {K-Spades} river, Ruzicka checked and Bojang's big bet did the trick to enforce a fold.

Cieslik Is Hot!

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
"I'm hot now!" declares Roman Cieslik
"I'm hot now!" declares Roman Cieslik

Roman Cieslik raised to 2,000 from the cutoff, with Manig Loeser calling from the small blind, and Philipp Gruissem calling from the big blind. The three players saw an eight each, on the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop, which checked round to Cieslik, who continued for 3,100. Both Loeser and Gruissem made the call and they went three ways to the {10-Diamonds} turn.

Action checked through on the turn, with Gruissem leading out for 11,000 on the {a-Diamonds} river.

"Phil, Phil, Phil," muttered Cieslik as he shook his head with disapproval, before reluctantly dropping in the call. Loeser quickly folded. Gruissem confidently turned over {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, but was no good versus Cieslik's {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

"I'm hot now!" declared Cieslik as he stacked his newly-aquired chips.

Two Pair Dilemma Sends Eiler to the Rail

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Andreas Eiler
Andreas Eiler

Not long ago Pierre Neuville started receiving a massage and that has since paid off, as the Belgian just sent Andreas Eiler to the rail. The hand started rather innocent, that was until Eiler ended up all in and at risk after a flop of {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Neuville looked him up for the last 39,400 and Eiler was in need ot a miracle.

Andreas Eiler: {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Pierre Neuville: {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Eiler needed running hearts or a three in order to avoid elimination, but the {5-Spades} turn and {K-Spades} river were both blanks.

Benoit Below Starting Stack

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 2,200 from under the gun and Jack Sinclair called from one seat over, as did Benjamin Benoit in the small blind and Oren Rosen in the big blind. Benoit bet the {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} flop for 3,500 and was called by Jachtmann only.

The {6-Clubs} turn saw another bet of 8,200 and a call by Jachtmann before Benoit checked the {4-Hearts} river. Jachtmann made it 13,000 to go and received the call he wanted, flipping over {Q-Clubs}{3-Spades} for trips queens as winning hand.

Matthias de Meulder Squeezes and Fires

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Matthias de Meulder - True Story
Matthias de Meulder - True Story

Jonathan Wong opened the betting with a raise to 2,200. partypoker Pro Kristen Bicknell called and when it got to Matthias de Meulder in the big blind he squeezed to 10,500.

Off came Wong’s headphones and on came a puzzled look. He surrendered his cards though and Bicknell called.

The heads-up flop was {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} and de Meulder continued the story with a bet of 8,700. Bicknell called.

The turn card was the {5-Clubs} and de Meulder added another chapter with a chunky bet of 24,300.

Bicknell mulled it over for a minute or two before deciding on discretion and mucking her hand.

No final page of the book would be read and whether it was fairy tale or horror only de Meulder knows and he ‘aint saying.

Ensan Folds to Push

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Philipp Gruissem raised to 2,000 and Matthias de Meulder three-bet to 6,300. Out of the big blind, Roman Cieslik four-bet to 21,200 and won the pot uncontested.

Hossein Ensan got into a pot with Moritz Dietrich and the latter has been using his big stack as of lately to get involved into plenty of pots. Ensan check-called a bet of 3,000 by Dietrich on the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop before the {Q-Spades} fell on the river. Ensan checked and Dietrich slid forward all his big chip denominations to win the pot by simply pushing Ensan out of the pot.
