Heidel Lures Thomas In

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Picking up the action on the {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{A-Spades} flop, Robin Hegele checked out of the small blind and Oliver Heidel did so in the big blind. Julian Thomas made it 3,000 to go and just Heidel called. After the {3-Spades} turn, Heidel check-called a bet of 5,500 and bet the {7-Spades} river for 9,000.

Thomas laughed and said "I don't have an ace, you already know that," and took another half a minute for tossing in the chips. Heidel turned over {A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for quads and won the pot.

One table over, Moritz Dietrich and Kenny Hallaert got into a bigger pot. Both players invested 12,000 each on the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} flop and Dietrich then bet the {J-Clubs} turn for 18,000 from the big blind. Hallaert quickly folded and Dietrich scooped the pot.

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

Manig Loeser had opened from early position and Kristen Bicknell in late position had got to the turn of a board reading {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

Loeser bet 1,500 and got a call from Bicknell.

The river card was the {3-Hearts} and Loeser bet again on the double paired board for 2,200. Bicknell called and Loeser said, “You got it,” as he flashed {8-Clubs}{7-} and Bicknell showed the winning {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flush.

Ruzicka also already tasted victory in a partypoker sponsored event, taking down the £ 10,000 + 300 No Limit Hold'em - Millions High Roller at the Dusk Till Dawn in April.

Furthermore, Artur Rudziankov, the first player of the Czech poker community to win a WSOP bracelet, is now also in contention.

Andreas Eiler Doubles Through Maxi Lehmanski

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Andreas Eiler
Andreas Eiler

Andreas Eiler had been looking for a bit of luck and a double up which he has just received courtesy of Maxi Lehmanski.

All the chips went in the middle preflop with Eiler at risk with just under 40,000 in the pot showing {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} against the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} of Lehmanski.

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Eiler secured his double up while putting a dent in Lehmanski’s stack.

Small Pot as The Talk Looks To Rebuild

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
The Talk
The Talk

The Talk lost a good deal of his stack earlier in a pot to Van Tiep Nguyen and the chat has been reduced somewhat as he aims to regain some of his lost momentum.

The board at the river read {6-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} and The Talk led out from the small blind for 2,000. That got a fold from the small blind but Andreas Eiler on the button was in need of a few chips himself and after another look at his cards he called.

The Talk showed {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} and that took the pot as Eiler mucked.

Bad River For Benoit

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Benoit, as he wins a pot against Jack Sinclair
Benoit, as he wins a pot against Jack Sinclair

Jack Sinclair raised under the gun to 1,500, with Benjamin Benoit calling on the button, and both blinds making the fold. Sinclair not to continue on the {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop, with Benoit quickly checking behind.

The turn brought the {4-Spades}, which Sinclair lead for 1,500 before Benoit quickly, and awkwardly, dropped 5,300 over the line. Sinclair mimicked Benoit's bizarre hand position, and also dropped 5,300 into the pot, as the table enjoyed a chuckle before the {8-Diamonds} was dealt on the river. Sinclair checked, and was very quickly faced with a 20,000 chip bet.

After a 30-second dwell, Sinclair made the call and was shown {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for a turned straight. "Bad river!" complained Benoit, as he was awarded the pot, "take it back and put a king!"

Hegele and Heidel in Need of Chips

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Both Robin Hegele and Oliver Heidel are on their first bullet and have one further thing in common: They are well below the starting stack. Both clashed in a hand button versus small blind and a pot of almost 20,000 built up until the {Q-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} turn.

Heidel checked and Hegele moved all in for 18,150, less than the pot. Heidel was very tempted and asked for the count, even tried to get more info via table chat. Ultimately, however, the German folded and Hegele raked in the pot without showdown.

Ensan Drops Two Pots

Level 4 : 250/500, 500 ante

In a three-bet pot between Petr Liesner and Hossein Ensan, both players checked the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop before Liesner's bet of 12,000 on the {8-Clubs} turn won the pot uncontested.

Soon after, Moritz Dietrich raised to 1,300 and was called by Scott Hanna, Hossein Ensan and Kenny Hallaert in the big blind. The flop of {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{5-Clubs} saw a bet of 2,200 by Ensan and Hallert called, as did Hanna. The three remaining players checked down the {7-Diamonds} turn and the {2-Spades} river. Hallaert flashed {K-Hearts}{10-Spades} and that ended up as the winner, as Ensan only had {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the slightly inferior kicker.
