Lots of Updated Counts

Level 8 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Both Gerald Karlic and Sergei Petrushevskii remain over two times the starting stack after clashing in a mid-sized pot. On the {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{3-Hearts} river, Petrushevskii checked from under the gun and Karlic bet 295,000 into 440,000 out of the cutoff. Petrushevskii reluctantly folded and the pot was awarded to the Austrian.

In the meanwhile, Anatoly Filatov has been eliminated while fellow partypoker sponsored pros Marcel Luske and Robert Romanello are grinding shorter stacks.

Vaskaboinikau Cut Down

Level 7 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ondrej Drozd defended his big blind against a raise by Mikalai Vaskaboinikau and a third player came along. Only Drozd check-called a bet of 125,000 on the {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop before both players invested 300,000 each on the {4-Spades} turn. Drozd then led the {10-Spades} river for 600,000 and Vaskaboinikau reluctantly called.

Drozd turned over {10-Clubs}{9-Spades} for rivered two pair and raked in a decent pot, while Vaskaboinikau was cut down to less than half the starting stack.

Kolja's Kings Cracked

Level 7 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

A preflop raising war saw Kolja four-bet all in and Jakub Cihar moved all in over the top to isolate successfully.

Kolja: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Jakub Číhař: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The {J-Hearts} appeared right in the window to give Cihar a set and the rest of the board ran out {6-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} to send Kolja to the rail.

Karlic Wins With Two "Bad Cards"

Level 7 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Gerald Karlic
Gerald Karlic

Petr Targa raised to 55,000 and Gerald Karlic three-bet to 145,000 from two seats over. A short stack in the big blind moved all in for 460,000 and Targa folded, while Karlic started some table chat. He then pointed on both of his cards and said "bad card, bad card." His opponent claimed to have good cards, to which Karlic replied "I believe you, the question is just if it's the same cards or not." One minute passed and Karlic tossed in calling chips, the showdown that followed created quite some smiles all around the table.

Big blind: {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Gerald Karlic: {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

The {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop seemingly sealed the double for the short stack, but the {4-Spades} turn and the {6-Diamonds} river gave Karlic two pair to score the knockout.

Miri Jams Into Zipf

Level 6 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

On the three-way flop of {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Hamza Miri checked out of the small blind and the big blind did so as well. Robert Zipf in the cutoff bet 100,000 and Miri was the only caller. The {Q-Hearts} on the turn brought a check by Miri and a subsequent check-raise from 100,000 to 230,000, which Zipf called.

Miri then instantly moved all in after the {10-Spades} river for his last 275,000 and that forced a fold from Zipf.
