Ferreira doubles through Staples

Jaime Staples raised to 23,000 from under the gun and was called only by Rui Ferreira in the cutoff. On a flop of {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Staples checked and Ferreira bet 24,850. Staples went for a check-raise to 120,000 and then called the shove by Ferreira for just under 340,000 in total.

Rui Ferreira: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Jaime Staples: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The {3-Diamonds} turn and {a-Hearts} river brought no upset as Ferreira doubled with his set of fours.

Fox Busts a Second Time

Level 4 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante
Nitsche vs Fox
Nitsche vs Fox

Elio Fox was already on his second bullet and tangled with Dominik Nitsche in a battle of the blinds. They created a pot of 245,110 to the {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} river on which Nitsche checked. Fox bet 245,000 with 593,695 and Nitsche then jammed with the covering stack.

Fox used some 20 seconds of his available time bank and called it off with the {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for the bottom end of the straight. However, that was no good as Nitsche had {8-Hearts}{7-Spades} for the nuts.

Koon Gets Value from Secher

Level 4 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante

With just 189,700 in the middle and the completed board reading {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}, Jason Koon bet 380,000 in middle position. Ole Secher was his sole opponent in the hijack and eventually made the call.

Koon tabled the {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a set of fixes and dragged in the healthy pot.

Yurasov Scores a Double

Level 4 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante

Dmitry Yurasov saw his stack tumble well below half a million and eventually got it in for 361,920 in the cutoff. Gytis Lazauninkas isolated from the button and they were off the races.

Dmitry Yurasov: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Gytis Lazauninkas: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and the nines held against both overcards and a flush draw to keep Yurasov in contention.

Vogelsang Busts Nolet

Level 4 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante
Vogelsang vs Nolet
Vogelsang vs Nolet

Tom Vogelsang three-bet to 70,000 and was called only by Guillaume Nolet. They checked the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and Nolet bet the {4-Clubs} turn for 90,387, which prompted a raise to 317,724 by Vogelsang and a call by Nolet.

The {10-Hearts} fell on the river and Nolet checked with 1,203,276 behind. Vogelsang moved all-in with the covering stack and Nolet tank-called with {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for jacks and sevens. That was no good as Vogelsang had {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for sevens full of fours.
