Frank Takes From Mikolaitis

Level 9 : 12,500/25,000, 3,150 ante

Christopher Frank had been caught bluffing by Dominykas Mikolaitis not long ago and both just clashed again. Frank opened to 50,000, Mikolaitis three-bet to 150,000 and then called a four-bet to 401,222 by Frank.

The flop brought {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Frank's continuation bet for 190,780 was called by Mikolaitis. There was no betting action on the {9-Clubs} turn and Frank bet the {3-Diamonds} river for 302,450. Mikolaitis eventually called and mucked when he was shown the {a-Spades}{3-Spades} for aces and treys by Frank.

Nitsche On the Rise

Level 9 : 12,500/25,000, 3,150 ante

Dominik Nitsche won a big pot against Daniel Peche when his queen-ten for two pair remained ahead against the {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} of Peche, who missed an open-ended straight draw.

Nitsche then opened to 87,500 and was called only by Michael Addamo out of the big blind. The Aussie checked the {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop and Nitsche made it 106,350 to go. Addamo check-raised to 275,000 only for Nitsche to jam near instantly. After using his time bank, Addamo let go and dropped below the starting stack.
