Day 1a of the Parx Big Stax 300 Begins at 11 a.m.

February is set to be a big month for tournament poker at Parx Casino in Bensalem Pennsylvania, with the Big Stax XXXII festival running throughout the month.

The first of three main events in the series begins today at 11 a.m., as Day 1a of the Big Stax 300 gets underway. This $300+40 buy-in tournament features the most affordable price point of the main events, and today’s action kicks off as the first of four Day 1 flights.

Beginning with a 30,000 starting stack, players will play through 14 45-minute levels today, with the blinds starting at 100/100. A big blind ante kicks in on Level 2, and the blinds ante will be at 1500/3000/3000 by the end of Level 14.

The field will take short breaks after every third level, with a 75-minute dinner break set to take place at 6:30 p.m. local time.

The Parx 300 is an unlimited re-entry event, with re-entry and late registration available through the beginning of Level 16, which is the second level of play scheduled for Day 2, which begins Sunday. Day 2 will feature all surviving players from Day 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d .

The February 2019 edition of the Big Stax 300 drew 2,874 entries, for a total prize pool of $819,090. Victor Ramdin was the eventual champion, taking home $87,327 for the win.
