We caught up to see Mike "Timex" McDonald and an opponent looking down at a board that read . McDonald checked to his opponent who fired out a bet of 5,000.
McDonald thought for about a minute before finally tossing 5,000 in with a sigh. His opponent showed for two pair and McDonald mucked his cards. He's currently sitting right around starting stack.
On a board reading , two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Andy Frankenberger checked from the big blind and then called when Brian Lee bet 1,600. Both players then checked the river and Frankenberger tabled . Lee double checked his cards and then sent them to the muck.
Frankenberger has been pretty quiet thus far today, and he's still hovering right around the starting stack.
A short-stacked player was all in for 6,350 with and was trailing the of David "Doc" Sands. The board, however, ran out a bit familiar for Sands as it fell . You may recall that Sands' pocket tens were cracked by Scott Seiver's pocket nines in the Super High Roller last night.
Sands offered his thoughts on the situation on twitter:
We caught up to the table after the money went in, but found a shorter stacked player was all in and at risk with . Unfortunately, he was up against Marc-Andre Ladouceur who held .
The board fell down and Ladouceur was able to score a knockout, boosting his stack up to about 55,000.
