Here's The Kicker

Fernando Brito opened for 1,200 on the button and Team PokerStars Pro Ville Wahlbeck defended from the big blind. Both players checked the {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop, and then Wahlbeck led out for 2,200 on the {7-Diamonds} turn. Brito made a quick call and the {5-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Wahlbeck put out another bet, this time 5,100, and Brito called. Wahlbeck tabled {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Brito stood up to see the cards. He then flashed the {9-Diamonds} and mucked, meaning Wahlbeck's king kicker made all the difference.

Celestino Triples; Julius Busts

Ariel Celestino opened-jammed for 7,250 from early position, Antonio Esfandiari called in the cutoff, and Ryan Julius three-bet to 14,000 on the button. The action folded back to Esfandiari, who moved all in having Julius covered.

Julius tanked for nearly two minutes, then committed his 40,000-chip stack.

"Bad timing," Esfandiari said, turning over two aces.

Esfandiari: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Celestino: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Julius: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

There were a few Brazilians around sweating Celestino, and they all burst into cheers when the flop fell {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn gave Julius an open-ended straight draw, but the {10-Hearts} bricked on the river.

Celestino raked in the smaller main pot, tripling to 25,000 chips or so, while Esfandiari pulled in the larger side pot, and now sits with over 100,000 chips.

Julius is eliminated.

Deeb Busts Failla

Will Failla opened for a raise, Shaun Deeb three-bet to 3,500 from the small blind, and Failla called.

The flop fell {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, and Deeb led for 4,075. Failla called.

The turn was the {k-Spades}, Deeb led again - this time for 9,500 - and Failla instantly called.

The river was the {6-Spades}, and Deeb moved all in for effectively 25,000 or so. Failla tanked for the better part of 30 seconds, then slid the rest of his chips forward. Deeb tabled {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a set of fours, and Failla mucked his hand and left.

Story Time With Christian Harder & Scott Seiver: The Elimination Of Chris Oliver

Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

The 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure runner-up, Chris Oliver, has been eliminated from the tournament. We didn't catch the hand, but Christian Harder did tell us a tale. Whether it's true or a tall tale, well, we'll let you decide.

According to Harder, Scott Seiver limped on the button and then he called from the small blind with {Q-}{10-}. Chris Oliver then moved all in for 5,800 with {A-}{9-} and Seiver tossed in 1,600.

"I thought I was raising," Seiver chimed in. "I thought he bet 850." Upon realizing Oliver was all in, Seiver sacrificed the 1,600 and folded his hand. Getting an even better price, Harder called and ended up hitting a queen on the river to eliminate Oliver.

Harder and Seiver both indicated that the aforementioned hand may not have happened at all. "I wouldn't do that," Seiver, who recently won the 2013 PCA $100,000 Super High Roller for just over $2 million, said of his button limp. "Use your head." Whatever the case,

Weissman Eliminated Chartier To Vault Into Chip Lead

"You had his number," Will "The Thrill" Failla said to Joey Weissman, who had just eliminated Sam Chartier. We didn't catch the hand until after the fact, but Failla told us Weissman had raised with {Q-}{Q-} and Chartier called with {5-}{5-} to see a flop of {Q-}{5-}{6-}. A raising war ensued that resulted in Chartier being all in for roughly 60,000, and he failed to catch the case five on both the turn and river.

Harder Busts Moorman

Daniel Negreanu opened to 900, Chris Moorman three-bet to 2,250 on his direct left, and Christian Harder cold four-bet to 4,200 from the small blind. Negreanu released, and Moorman called.

The flop fell {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, Harder led for 4,200, and Moorman moved all in for 22,000 or so. Harder tank-called.

Harder: {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Moorman: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The turn and river bricked {j-Clubs}, {10-Diamonds} respectively, and Moorman was eliminated.

Greenberg "Finally Hits a Turn"

Lawrence Greenberg and Daniel Negreanu were heads up on a board of {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Greenberg led out for a bet, Negreanu raised to 2,500, and Greenberg moved all in for 9,950. Negreanu tank-called.

Greenberg: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Negreanu: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The river was the {q-Diamonds}, and Greenberg doubled to around 32,000 chips. Negreanu is still very healthy with 110,000.

"I finally hit a turn," Greenberg said after the hand.

"This Deck Is Rigged"

That's what we heard Jason Lavallee joke so we made our way to the table. From what we could tell, he had just paid off a big river bet to Jason Lavallee, who had {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} laid out in front of him on a {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{X-}{X-} board. Not only did he flop quads, he got paid on them!
