Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

It was raised to 525 and two players called before the action got to Scott Seiver who applied pressure by making a reraise to 3,000. The original raiser folded quickly and was followed in short order by the others to give Seiver the pot.

Seiver, who won the 2013 PCA Super High Roller event, was up to 49,000 after the hand.

Mandavia Takes One With River Bet

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Benoit Galland has been tangling a bit with Ankush Mandavia on his left, and he came out on the wrong end of a recent pot. After a {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop, Galland bet 2,200 in the cutoff, only to see Mandavia raise to 6,000. Galland made it 10,000 to go, and Mandavia called. Both players checked the {a-Spades}, and a {2-Clubs} put plenty of danger on the board with a three-flush and four-straight. Galland checked, and Mandavia bet 12,000, almost all of Galland's stack. The latter took about three minutes before mucking his hand.

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the second day of the 2015 PCA it was the $3,000 LAPT Bahamas Main Event that caught everyone's attention. This event drew a crowd of 736 players (531 unique) to create a prize pool just shy of $2 million. The eventual winner of this event will walk away $367,928 richer, and we caught up with PokerStars blogger Martin Harris to discuss the success of this tournament.

Gregg Flops a Monster and Gets Paid

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
Tony Gregg
Tony Gregg

We got to the table with approximately 11,000 in the pot with action on the turn and the board showing {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Tony Gregg had a bet of 4,200 in front of him and Gabriel Gomes made the call. Viktor Leonov decided not to partake in the fun and slid his cards to the dealer.

The river was the {J-Diamonds} and Gregg led out for 8,000. Gomes tanked for two minutes before counting out the chips to make the call. After a few more moments of thought he reluctantly tossed the chips towards the middle.

Gregg turned over {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a flopped full house and Gomes mucked.

Nadal Hits Straight to Double Up

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Four players, one of them being Isaac Haxton, would see the flop in what was a three-bet pot pre-flop. With 4,200 in the pot, the player first to act led out for 2,600 on the {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and was called by the player in Seat 5 and Jose Nadal. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and again the first to act player bet, this time for 6,600. The player in Seat 5 folded and Nadal quickly moved all in for an additional 4,100.

His opponent made the call and wanted to muck his hand after seeing Nadal's {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for the turned nut straight. The dealer turned over his hand, however, and his {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} was drawing dead. The river was an inconsequential {10-Diamonds} and Nadal doubled up to 33,400 in chips.
