Muehloecker Applies the Pressure

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Thomas Muehloecker opened to 7,000 in the cutoff and Ramin Hajiyev three-bet to 20,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Muehloecker made it 48,500 to go before Hajiyev just called.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} and both players checked to the {k-Spades} on the turn. Muehloecker stuck in a bet of 30,500 and Hajiyev called to see the {6-Diamonds} on the river. Muehloecker shipped all in for 74,000 effective, putting Hajiyev to the test for his remaining chips. He used up three of his time extensions before finally sliding his cards to the muck.

Foxen Triples, Dattani Nearly Doubles

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Alex Foxen shoved all in for 15,000 in middle position and Michel Dattani called in the cutoff. Big blind Fabiano Kovalski reraised all in and Dattani quickly called.

Alex Foxen: {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Michel Dattani: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Fabiano Kovalski: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Foxen didn't seem too upset with his predicament even after hoping they both had ace-king. His cheerfulness was rewarded with a {3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. The {a-Spades} and {a-Clubs} were bricks on the turn and river. He tripled up, while Dattani couldn't be too unhappy either as he had 64,500 back, allowing him to turn a handsome profit still.

Bedell Never Shows

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Martin Zamani and Tom-Aksel Bedell were heads-up in a pot with the board reading {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Martin Zamani led out for 14,000 on the turn and Bedell made the call.

The {j-Hearts} landed on the river and Zamani checked this time. Bedell slid in a bet of 27,000 and Zamani was forced to give up a time bank before he finally folded.

"I will show you three hands if you show me this one," Zamani pleaded.

"I never show," Bedell responded. "Unless I have to."

Adams Bows Out to Peters

Level 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

David Peters opened to 5,000 from under the gun and was called by Sean Winter in the small blind and Timothy Adams in the big blind. The flop fell {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and the action checked to Peters who continued for 13,000. Winter folded but Adams made the call.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Adams checked to Peters who fired another 25,000. Adams used a time bank but decided to still call. The river was the {5-Hearts} and Adams pushed all in for 44,000. It didn't take long for Peters to call and Adams tabled {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Peters turned over {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and both players had exactly the same amount of chips, eliminating Adams.
