Obreshkov Left with a Chip and a Chair

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Picking up the action with two players all in preflop, Stoyan Obreshkov found himself in a bit of a predicament and needing a lot of help. Corentin Ropert was his opponent and tabled {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} against Obreshkov's {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} with Ropert being at risk for 65,700.

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} as Ropert's pocket queens held on for the full double up. Obreshkov was left with just 100 chips and will have an uphill battle in order to stay alive.

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Vojtech Ruzicka raised to 2,000 from the button and Marvin Rettenmaier three-bet to 6,700 in the big blind which Ruzicka called.

The flop came {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}, Rettenmaier continued with a bet of 5,600 and Ruzicka called.

Four-Flush Doesn't Scare Perkins

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Bill Perkins looked down at his cards in early position and made it 1,800 to go. The big blind defended and the flop fell {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}. Both players checked and the {j-Hearts} landed on the turn.

The big blind led out for 3,500 this time and Perkins called as the {q-Spades} put four spades on the board. His opponent fired another 3,700 and Perkins flicked in a chip to call. His opponent flashed the {q-Clubs} but Perkins quickly tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for a straight.
