The Portuguese media swooped in to capture one of their stars in search for a double up, but the flop was dreadful for them. The on the turn added the tens as outs to the aces but neither one appeared on the river.
In the next hand at the same table, Kristen Bicknell shoved all in for 46,000. Everyone folded to Sebastian Von Toperczer in the big blind.

According to Kamphues, he had raised and Wantman called on the button. Both checked the flop and the turn brought a check-raise from 12,000 to 38,000 by Kamphues, which Wantman called. On the river, Kamphues bet 78,000 and Wantman jammed for around double of that, the snap-call followed.

Kenney was in a great spot with the king-eight but the path ultimately led to Lew making a straight. Kenney finished in 123rd place and collected a mincash.
Pierre Calamusa raised to 8,000 and called a three-bet to 26,000 by Niall Farrell. Calamusa checked the flop and called a continuation bet of 20,000.
Calamusa check-called another 58,000 on the turn and Farrell then got his last 130,000 in after the river. It would be the last hand of Farrell, who held , as Calamusa turned over for the flush.
"What a waste of time bank cards, I even had the ace of clubs," Farrell sighed.
With the bubble out of the way, Mike Leah raised to 10,000 in early position, Sam Grafton three-bet shoved 39,000 from the small blind and Leah called it off.

The flop kept Grafton way ahead but the on the turn was as bad as they'd come for the talkative Brit. Grafton needed a black ten to spin it up but caught the instead to become the first one to collect the $17,620 mincash.
