Dong Building
We are now down to 23 players spread over three tables and while it looks as though Bobby Zhang still holds the lead the gap is narrowing and the Australian has just been moved to an interesting table with two other chunky stacks – Yu Dong and Youngee Park.
Park is on his third bullet but it looks like the third time’s the charm as they say and the Korean looks to have close to 95,000 in his stack.
We caught Dong in action in a three-way hand between Guangrui Meng (under-the-gun) and Gab Yong Kim (button) with the flop spread and 13,000 in the pot just as Dong led out from the small blind for 6,700.
While that was enough to get Meng to bow out Kim made the call and the action went heads up to the turn. The was no betting on this particular street and the river completed the hand and saw Dong lead for 8,000.
After thinking it over Kim threw in the call, only to see Dong roll over for two pairs, which was enough to take down the hand.
It looks as though Justin Chan has become one of the more recent casualties as he has just wandered past the media desk and here’s how some of the other players are stacking up:
