Katz Calls It Out

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Cary Katz raised to 12,000 in the hijack and was called by Myles Mullaly and Michael Brinkenhoff in the blinds. The flop fell QJ5 and Katz continued with a bet of 20,000 which only Mullaly called.

The turn brought the 2 and Mullaly check-called another bet of 32,000 from Katz. The 9 hit the river and Mullaly checked one more time. Katz rolled over KQ for top pair but was already anticipating to lose.

"King-ten?" Katz questioned of Mullaly who indeed rolled over K10 for a straight. "I thought it was suited at least."
