A field of 37 entries is down to 31 players through the opening four levels and they are being sent on their first 15-minute break of the day.
Heading into the first break of the day, there have been three eliminations in the field, two of which came from Michael Berk. Joey Weissman claimed his first bounty and currently sits at the top of the leaderboard, while Jeremy Ausmus just claimed the second.
Neil Warren was the other player eliminated earlier in the day, but has since re-entered and won a couple of pots. Late registration will remain open for another four levels on Day 1 of this event.

Jeremy Ausmus and Joao Simao were heads-up in the blinds with around 50,000 in the pot and the board reading 9♠7♠7♥10♥. Ausmus led out with a bet of 20,000 and Simao called on his left.
The river was the 4♥ and Ausmus slid out his remaining stack of just over 60,000 chips. Simao appeared to be frustrated as he sent his cards flying into the muck.

Chris Hunichen raised to 4,500 on the button and Nicholas Seward three-bet to 13,000 in the small blind. Hunichen four-bet shoved all in and Seward snapped off his stack of 70,000 chips.
Nicholas Seward: A♠A♣
Chris Hunichen: 3♠3♥
The flop came K♣9♥6♥ and Seward's pocket aces were way in front of Hunichen's pocket threes. The 8♣ and 10♠ runout changed nothing, sending a double up in Seward's direction.

Jesse Lonis raised to 4,500 in the cutoff and Michael Berk jammed all in for 33,000 on the button. Neil Warren reshoved all in from the small blind which forced Lonis to fold.
Michael Berk: A♠8♦
Neil Warren: J♠J♣
The flop came Q♣9♥3♥ and Warren maintained his lead with his pocket jacks. The 9♣ on the turn changed nothing but the A♥ hit the river to give Berk a double up.
"You had good energy," Jeremy Becker commented to Berk. "You never got out of your seat."
Warren was down to just 8,000 chips after the hand and was forced to hit up the registration desk for a reentry just moments later.

Picking up the action on a completed board of K♣5♦4♦7♠9♠, there was around 60,000 in the middle with Brandon Wilson and Ed Sebesta heads-up.
Wilson checked from the big blind and Sebesta used two time banks before tossing in a bet of 38,000. Wilson used a time bank of his own and then flicked in a call. Sebesta flipped over J♣10♣ for air while Wilson tabled his A♦4♣ for just a pair of fours to win the pot.

Neil Warren opened to 3,500 from under the gun and Joey Weissman three-bet to 11,500 on his left. The action folded back to Warren who just called to see a flop of 6♠3♠2♣. Warren checked to Weissman who continued with a bet of 7,000 and Warren called.
The turn was the 4♦ and both players checked to the J♦ on the river. Warren led out with a pot-sized bet of 35,000 and Weissman burned a time bank before calling. Warren turned over A♥Q♠ for ace-high while Weissman paired up on the river with A♠J♣.
