Online Qualifier Attila Toth-Madi Joins Day 1C
Walking around the tournament room, we spotted also PokerNews Cup serial qualifier Attila Toth-Madi, the 38-year old player from Hungary that seems to win just about every contest on PokerNews.
Toth-Madi got his entry in the PokerNews Cup Main Event at partypoker, where he won one of the €1,100 packages on tap.
Before that, his online skills allowed him to win even more PokerNews-exclusive packages to freeroll the 2014 PokerNews Cup Main Event and the World Series of Poker.
“It has been a good tournament so far,” Toth-Madi shared with PokerNews. “I have 40,000 in chips and I don’t have any reasons to complain except maybe for one very strange hand I gave witnessed at my table,” he continued.
“Right after I sat down, a player with over 100,000 in chips went all-in pre-flop with . I just don’t get it.”
