Patel Snipes Segebrecht

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Emil Patel raised to 6,000, Claas Segebrecht shoved for 36,500 behind him and Patel tank-called.

Claas Segebrecht: {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Emil Patel: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

Segebrecht was a favorite to start with and remained ahead after the {K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Patel picked up a flush draw and added more outs when the {Q-Hearts} fell on the turn.

The dealer burned and turned the {4-Diamonds} on the river to complete Patel's flush and end Segebrecht's run.

Sam Grafton raised to 5,400 in middle position and got three-bet to 16,500 by Thomas Muehloecker, his neighbor. Grafton came back with 34,200 and a call of Muehloecker's subsequent shove.

Muehloecker: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Grafton: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, no help to the Austrian. He looked to have about 100,000, and Grafton had that covered.

Kozlov Can't Escape Sekularac A Second Time

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Earlier on, Martin Kozlov was able to double through Ognjen Sekularac. This time, however, it ended for the Australian. Sekularac raised to 7,200 in the small blind, Kozlov shoved 36,300 from the big blind, and Sekularac tank-called.

Martin Kozlov: {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Ognjen Sekularac: {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}

Sekularac and Kozlov both paired up on the {Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop. The {Q-Diamonds} on the turn gave the Serbian a mortal lock on the hand, rendering the {3-Clubs} river moot.

Margolin Wrests Lead from Lopez

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Timur Margolin
Timur Margolin

David Lopez Llacer looked to have put in a preflop three-bet to 16,000 in the small blind and gotten action from Timur Margolin when we got to their table. The flop came {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Lopez put in a sizable bet of 25,000, which was quickly called. A second barrel of 75,000 on the {2-Spades} got another call, and the river was a {7-Spades}. Lopez timed nearly out and then checked. Margolin moved all in for about 180,000, and Lopez used a time extension before mucking.

Kaverman Needs Time

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

After Sergey Tikhonov had opened, Byron Kaverman three-bet to 12,500 on the button. Tikhonov four-bet to 25,000 and the American called. The flop was {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Tikhonov bet 20,000, which Kaverman called.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and Tikhonov directly shoved all in for 58,400. Kaverman went deep in the tank and the dealer flung the timer towards him, making sure Kaverman's remaining time bank was visible.

After using up two of his time bank chips, Kaverman folded and Tikhonov scooped it up.
