Some Value for Kenney

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Christoph Vogelsang joined the action at the start of the level while Julian Thomas lost a lot of his stack in a big pot against Sam Greenwood. Thomas just moved all in for only 27,100 and picked up the blinds and antes.

Adrian Mateos bet the river of a completed board of {Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for 3,200 and called a raise to 19,000 by Bryn Kenney. The latter flipped over the {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and that won the pot.

Khoroshenin the Hero

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened under the gun for 5,200 and Oleksii Khoroshenin three-bet to 15,200 from the button. The blinds folded, Dvoress called.

Dvoress check-called a bet of 21,000 on {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} before they both checked the {4-Hearts} on the turn. The river came the {5-Spades} and Dvoress bet 37,000. Khoroshenin took his time before eventually calling.

Dvoress showed {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for nothing but a missed straight draw. Khoroshenin tabled {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and took down the sizable pot.

Fast Forces Fold from Schillhabel

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Joining the action on the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Stefan Schillhabel checked out of the big blind and called a bet of 10,000 by Dietrich Fast from under the gun. On the {6-Spades} turn, Schillhabel checked once more and called a bet of 30,000 by Fast before the {10-Clubs} on the river completed the board.

Schillhabel checked and Fast announced a bet of 90,000, prompting Schillhabel to use one of his three time extensions. The one minute all but ran down and Schillhabel folded with three seconds left on the clock.

Ivan Luca: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
JC Alvarado: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Luca doubled for 137,700 in total, sending Alvarado back below the starting stack.

Chidwick Down to Half a Starting Stack

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Stephen Chidwick raised to 4,500 from the cutoff and was called by Orpen Kisacikoglu on the button. The flop fell {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} and both players checked. On the {8-Spades} turn, Chidwick checked and called a bet of 4,500 by Kisacikoglu before checking again the {Q-Clubs} on the river. Kisacikoglu bet 17,000 and that forced a fold.

Koray Aldemir limped in and called a raise to 6,000 by Oleksii Khoroshenin. The flop of {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} brought a check by Aldemir, who then check-raised from 7,000 to 19,500 in order to win the pot right there. Aido Busts to Thorel

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

We got there on the river on a board of {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs} as Jean-Noel Thorel (big blind) had checked and Sergio Aido (cutoff) had bet 20,000. Thorel shoved for 36,500 and Aido reluctantly called with {Q-}{J-}. Thorel tabled {8-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and raked in the pot, Aido was left with just over 60,000 after the hand it seemed.

The next hand, Aido opened for 4,300 and Thorel three-bet to 12,000. Aido called and called Thorel's 10,000 continuation bet on {K-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} as well. The {J-Hearts} hit the turn and Thorel checked. Aido moved in and Thorel snap called with {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. Aido tabled {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and left the tournament area after the {5-Spades} completed the board.

"That's Why You are the Best"

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

In a preflop raising war the stacks of Adrian Mateos and Timothy Adams went into the middle of the table and it was Mateos at risk.

Adrian Mateos: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Timothy Adams: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Mateos doubled for 111,800. Rocco Palumbo chimed in to highlight the usual fate of pocket jacks in important pots and added "and that's why you are the best" towards Mateos, who raked in the pot with a big smile on the face.

Ole Schemion Eliminated

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion

Albert Daher opened under the gun for 5,000 and got called in 2 spots: Ole Schemion on the button and Timothy Adams in the big blind.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} and Adams checked. Daher bet 7,000 and Schemion raised to 15,200. Adams folded and Daher answered with a shove all in. Schemion called for about 46,000 or so.

Albert Daher: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Ole Schemion: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}

The {K-Hearts} on the turn paired up Daher to make him trips, the {A-Diamonds} on the river was now insufficient to keep Schemion in the tournament.
