Aldemir Well Under Half a Starting Stack

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Koray Aldemir bet 1,900 into a pot of 5,500 on a {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board, and Noah Vaillancourt, who had checked in middle position, called him. Vaillancourt checked the {6-Diamonds} river, and Aldemir bet again for 5,000. Vaillancourt responded with an all-in shove, and Aldemir dumped his holding after briefly thinking.

Aido Ran Down

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Sergio Aido opened for a raise and got one caller before the big blind shoved all in for just 6,575. Aido reraised to chase away the third player and get heads up.

Aido: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Big blind: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop was safe enough for Aido, but a {10-Diamonds} opened up a possible flush. The {4-Diamonds} completed it, and Aido sent over a double.

Alkalay Doubles

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Uruguayan high roller Francisco Benitez opened the action from middle position with a raise to 1,000. Adi Alkalay, like Benitez in middle position, three-bet to 3,200 and just Benitez called.

Benitez check-called a bet of 2,800 on {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and the {9-Hearts} hit the turn. That card would proof to a big one, as the money was soon going in. Benitez check-raised Alkalay's 6,300 bet to 13,600 and called the shove for 34,850 total.

Adi Alkalay: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Francisco Benitez: {10-Spades}{8-Spades}

The river {6-Spades} paired the board, giving Alkalay the winning full house. Benitez parted ways with a large portion of his stack.

More Eliminations Coming In

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Among those to join the list of today's casualties were Joao Simao, Scott Margereson, Vladimir Troyanovskiy and Claas Segebrecht. Freddy Deeb had been nursing a short stack for quite some time and ran out of chips as well.

Lena Doubles Through Grafton

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

On a {2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, Giovanni Lena committed his stack of 18,000 to the pot and Sam Grafton looked him up.

Giovanni Lena: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Sam Grafton: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Grafton had plenty of outs to knock out Lena, but the {10-Hearts} and {A-Diamonds} river bricked for the Brit. Lena quickly ran over to a neighboring table and loudly celebrated the double-up.

Schemion Eliminates Erdat

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

With a completed board of {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, Schemion shoved his last 16,000 in the middle, around a pot-sized bet. Serhal Erdat played slightly less than that and ended up calling the shove.

The German showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a straight, Erdat mucked and headed for the rail. Schemion is up to 48,000.

Banic Takes from Panyak

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the three-way flop of {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, Maxim Panyak bet 2,150 from early position and Ivan Banic called whereas the third player in the hand folded. The {K-Spades} turn saw Panyak check and call a bet worth 5,700 before checking again the {10-Hearts} river. Banic now made it 12,800 to go and that forced a fold from Panyak.

While the duo remains with the biggest stacks at the table, Ema Zajmovic is not far behind and they also face the likes of Andre Akkari and [Removed:17] as well.

Teltscher Hits Miracle River to Stay Alive

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Seated under the gun, Elvin Muratovic opened for 2,300. Two to his left it was Mark Teltscher three-betting to 6,200. Action folded back around to Muratovic and he called.

Muratovic checked on {J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and Teltscher bet 5,000. Muratovic called.

As the {10-Diamonds} hit the turn, Muratovic checked again. Teltscher bet 13,000 with a little under 11,000 behind. Muratovic moved all in and Teltscher, somewhat reluctantly but still without hesitation, called.

Elvin Muratovic: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Mark Teltscher: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}

Teltscher was in a world of pain with his two pair and only had a couple of outs left to stay alive. The EPT champion and EPT runner-up already got up and put on his jacket, but could sit down again as the {J-Clubs} completed the board.

"Nice call" Muratovic said with a somewhat sarcastic voice as he was counting out chips to hand over to Teltscher. The latter replied that he had to call since he had so few chips left.
