Maria Kozak Soaring

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Earlier Maria Kozak eliminated Nicolas Torossian and in this hand she added more chips after eliminating Mateus Borowski.

Frazier Macintyre raised to 525 and got three callers. He continued for 1,100 on a flop of {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{k-Clubs} and Borowski and Kozak both called.

The turn was the {8-Clubs}. This time it checked to Borowski who bet 3,000. Kozak raised to 8,000. Macintyre folded and Borowski called.

Borowski checked the {k-Diamonds} river and Kozak bet 15,000, putting Borowski all in. Borowski called and mucked his hand when Kozak showed {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for a rivered full house.

Paul Quinn Busts on Action Flop

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

The flop came {k-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs} in a pot between Paul Quinn and Gediminas Bartkus. Quinn bet 900 into a pot of around 2,000 and Bartkus raised to 2,300.

Quinn then re-raised to 5,000 and Bartkus moved all in for 29,000. Quinn tanked.

"Let's dance," he said eventually, sliding his stack forward.

Bartkus showed {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

"Fours," said Quinn tabling {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, "The only hand you could have."

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and the river was the {2-Hearts}, getting some of Quinn's tablemates excited, but Bartkus had rivered a bigger house to eliminate his opponent.

Fireworks On Table 11

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Glenn Cochrane opened the action and found a call from Ramali Kusnadi.

On a flop of {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs} Cochrane check-called a bet from Kusnadi but it was on the {2-Spades} turn that the fireworks erupted.

Cochrane checked and once more Kusandi bet, this time 2,500. Cochrane sprang the check-raise to 6,000 but was then met by a three-bet to 14,000 from Kusandi.
Cochrane responded by moving all in for 27,500 and that certainly gave Kusandi something to think about.

Eventually he folded and claimed to have had too pair which led to a round table discussion about who had what and whether it was a good fold.

Either way the chips were now nestling in Cochrane’s stack.
