Ahmad Ahmadi limped in from the under-the-gun position and so did Merad Meladze from early position. Igor Rybak raised to 1,100 from mid-position and action folded to Bennet Schmidt in the big blind who three-bet to 2,300. Ahmadi got out of the way quickly but both Meladze and Rybak called.

The board read and Merab Meladze had shoved for the 9,625 he still had behind. Ahmad Ahmadi had another look at his cards and then called. Meladze showed for the rivered two pair which was enough to beat the of Ahmadi and earned him the double-up.
