The board read and Sascha Niese was already all in and it looked like he could win 8,200 in total. There was a side-pot of around 500. The turn brought them the , now Zaplava bet 8,700 and Wolfschutz folded. The side pot was awarded to Zaplava. They now only needed to see the river before they would know Niese's fate.
Niese showed so he had flopped a pair of tens. Zaplava tabled for a straight draw. The river completed the board with the so he did hit his straight to eliminate Niese from the tournament.

Srdjan Patkovic sent Michael Schulze to the rail to become one of the bigger stacks in the room, while Jesper Feddersen and Grzegorz Derkowski joined in the late stages of the registration period and haven't done much yet.
Jules Ayoub limped in and bet the flop for 2,150, which only Johann Kroon called. On the turn, Ayoub moved all in for 8,475 and Kroon called with the . Ayoub showed for two pair and held up thanks to the blank river.
Thang Duc Nguyen was less fortunate. He was all in for the last 9,550 with and Jamil Omar called with the . The board came and Nguyen was drawing dead on the turn already.
Matthias Schrader defended his big blind against a raise by Wim Verhaegen and checked the flop. Verhaegen bet 2,000 and Schrader called before doing so again for the very same amount on the turn. The river completed the board and Schrader checked the third street in a row.
Verhaegen bet 6,000 and was called to roll over . Schrader nodded, flashed his cards to show the case king and mucked.
One hand later, Jens Patzner raised to 1,500 and Mike Hill called, as did Schrader in the small blind, the big blind made it four ways to the flop of . When the action reached Hill, he moved all in for 9,200 and all opponents folded.

Day 1d is a reentry flight which means that only players that have played Day 1a, 1b or 1c and busted, can play in this flight.
Two players limped in and Karim Rebei raised in the cutoff, which was called by Liutauras Armanavicius in the small blind and Sefa Terzi in the hijack. On the flop, Armanavicius checked and Terzi bet 3,500. Rebei raised to 8,200 and Armanavicius moved all in, as did Terzi.
Rebei had started the hand with a little over 40,000 and eventually called on pot odds to put two players at risk.

The turn changed nothing much but a deuce would result in a three-way chop. Instead, the fell on the river and Rebei improved to a flush, sending two opponents to the rail.
Christoph Ryczek had bet 7,250 from the small blind with three other players that had put chips over the line before him. Ali Kahvand, sitting in the under-the-gun position, tanked but in the end, he called. The two other players quickly folded. This meant the pot had about 18,000 in it in total.
