Celenza Thriving

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante
Claudio Celenza
Claudio Celenza

Thang Duc Nguyen has been eliminated while Tom Holke doubled back into an above-average stack.

Table seven hosts three big stacks in Lars Möller, Ulrich Pauls and Behzad Zarnegar.

Furthermore, Claudio Celenza won a big pot and admitted that he "sucked out." According to Celenza, he ended up cracking ace-king for top two pair with {K-}{Q-} after rivering a straight and joined the players with six digits.

Molaci Doubles Through Ponath

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

The pot contained about 6,000 on a {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop and Kayhan Molaci checked from the big blind. Tobias Ponath bet 3,600 from the under-the-gun position and Molaci responded with a shove for 15,300 in total. Ponath tanked and then called.

Kayhan Molaci: {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Tobias Ponath: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The turn brought the {6-Diamonds} for a full house for Molaci and the {4-Spades} on the river didn't help Ponath in any way. Molaci doubled.

Neurauter Busts to Mandic

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante
Hannes Neurauter
Hannes Neurauter

Vedran Mandic raised to 1,700 at the end of the previous level and Alaettin Keles called from one seat over. Hannes Neurauter in the cutoff three-bet to 5,500 and Mandic clicked it up to 15,000, forcing out Keles. Neurauter moved all in for around 39,000 and Mandic quickly called.

Hannes Neurauter: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Vedran Mandic: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

The board came {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Neurauter headed to the rail.

Seat Open for von Perger and Obravac

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante
Jamila von Perger
Jamila von Perger

The move of Krunoslav Obravac with {7-Spades}{6-Hearts} went wrong on the table of Tom Holke, as Erik Scheidt didn't remotely think about folding his {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} preflop. There wasn't much of a sweat and Obravac was gone.

One table over, Johnny Hansen sent a short stack to the rail with {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs} versus {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} after the player at risk didn't pick up any help at all.

Furthermore, Jamila von Perger was also eliminated as well. On the {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts} turn, Salvatore Scarcella checked out of the big blind and von Perger bet 2,000 on the button. Scarcella check-raised to 6,000 and von Perger moved all in for around 20,000, which Scarcella quickly called.

Jamila von Perger: {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Salvatore Scarcella: {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

"Oh crap," von Perger said as soon as she spotted the straight of her opponent and the {8-Hearts} on the river failed to improve her.

Tellenbach Takes Out Ozkir

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Konstantin Farber raised to 1,300 from the hijack. Serkan Ozkir shoved all in from the cutoff for 8,600 in total. Alfred Tellenbach called on the button. Farber folded.

Alfred Tellenbach: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Serkan Ozkir: {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{J-Spades} - even though Ozkir picked up an open-ended straight draw on the flop, he bricked the turn and the river and was eliminated from the tournament.

Andreev Doubles Through Holke

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Tom Holke has dropped back to starting stack and Andrey Andreev confirmed that he doubled through the German in the first hand after sitting down. According to the Russian, Andreev called a raise to 2,000 by Holke and they headed to a {K-}{7-}{2-} flop and check-raised to pick up a call by Holke.

On the {8-} turn, Holke pushed with pocket nines and Andreev called with {K-}{7-} for two pair. Holke continued to play every hand and called a preflop all in by Erik Scheidt with {K-}{6-}. Scheidt had {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and the board brought four deuces and an eight.

The current chip leader at half time appears to be Lars Möller with four times the starting stack.
