Mulders Catches a Bluff

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Levi Mulders
Levi Mulders

Levi Mulders raised to 21,000 from the cutoff and was called by Dustin Mangold in the big blind.

They both checked through the {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Spades} on the flop to the {2-Hearts} on the turn. Mangold bet 26,000 and Mulders called.

The river completed the board with the {Q-Clubs}, now Mangold bet 64,000 and Mulders thought about it for quite a while. After having considered all the possible options he decided to call. Mangold immediately mucked his hand and but Mulders still showed {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} even though the pot was already going to be awarded to him.

Hansen and Kohler Bust

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Sönke Hansen came back from the dinner break with just five big blinds and pushed from early position. Big stack [Removed:431] called in the big blind and the cards were tabled.

Sönke Hansen: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
[Removed:431]: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board came {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Hansen was eliminated in 49th place.

Soon after Peter Jaksland sent Kevin Köhler to the rail after the latter put his hopes on {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. On the {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} turn, he had a gutshot and flush draw, but Jaksland held up with the {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs} as the {Q-Diamonds} river was a blank.

Domarkas Doubles

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Maximilian Silz raised from the cutoff and was called by Karolis Domarkas in the big blind to see a flop of {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. A small continuation bet by Silz was called before Domarkas check-raised the {3-Clubs} turn and moved all in after the {2-Diamonds} river for 185,000.

Silz tanked for some time and reluctantly called to see the Lithuanian turn over {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a flopped full house. Silz only had {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for trips aces and took a hit to his stack.

Below are further players that were eliminated just before the dinner break.

Lalor Doubles Through Schrieber

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Uwe Schrieber raised to 20,000 first to act and Joseph Lalor moved all in from one seat over for 115,000. The action folded back to Schrieber and he reluctantly called for just under half of his remaining stack.

Joseph Lalor: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Uwe Schrieber: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The Irishman improved on the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and the {K-Hearts} turn gave him trips. A blank {J-Spades} river changed nothing anymore and Lalor doubled.

Horecki Doubles Through Adamkiewicz

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Marcin Horecki
Marcin Horecki

PokerStars Team Pro Marcin Horecki was sitting with a big stack in front of him after he had just doubled up against Rafal Adamkiewicz. The board and hole cards were already gone but Horecki was kind enough to tell us what had happened:

"He raised to 18,000, I three-bet to 46,000, he shoved, I call. I had less and I had aces. He had queens. Nothing on the board, jack-high. I have about 460,000 now."

Celenza Runs Out of Chips

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Claudio Celenza
Claudio Celenza

Joining the action on the flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}, Claudio Celenza bet 25,000 in the hijack and Andrei Nodea raised to 60,000 on the button. Celenza moved all in and Nodea stared at the tournament screen before calling with a near identical stack.

Claudio Celenza: {K-Spades}{10-Spades}
Andrei Nodea: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}

The {A-Diamonds} turn and {4-Spades} river were blanks and the stacks were counted, Celenza was indeed covered by a few blinds and was sent to the rail.

[Removed:72] Busts to Pauls

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Thomas [Removed:72]
Thomas [Removed:72]

Once the bubble burst, Ulrich Pauls went on a wild ride and his stack took a toll. Down to around 190,000 he was in a heads-up pot to the {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop and the stacks went in with [Removed:72] calling as player at risk for 150,000.

Thomas [Removed:72]: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Ulrich Pauls: {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Pauls shook his head and nothing changed with the {K-Spades} turn, however, the {6-Diamonds} river gave him two pair and [Removed:72] was eliminated.
