Pagano Loses Out To Flopped Full House

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

There was a bit of preflop action before PokerStars Team Pro Luca Pagano raised it up and got calls from Gia Gunilla Carnestrom and one other player.

The flop was {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and that’s where the fireworks happened with all three players going all in.

The first player turned over {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for trip eights but was behind Pagano who held {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. That was of little use against to {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} of Carnestrom though as she had flopped a full house.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and the river the {q-Spades}.

Carnestrom bust one player and took a chunk from Pagano scoring a nice triple up.

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

Di Salvo’s queens held up to score a double knock-out and move close to 100,000.

Scary Board; What Does the Qualifier Have?

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

PokerStars Online qualifier Vojtech Paxian from Slovakia opened for 1,100 from the button and got called by Isaac Wiafe in the small blind and the player in the big blind.

The flop was {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and it checked to Paxian who bet 1,500. The big blind folded but Wiafe stuck around.

The turn card was the {9-Hearts} and Wiafe check called a bet of 3,100 from Paxian.

The river was the {10-Clubs}. It looked like pretty much every draw got there and Wiafe checked it. Paxian reached for chips and fired the last barrel for a hefty 6,500.

Wiafe shrug-called the bet and mucked when Paxian turned over {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

Steve Watts Eliminated

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

The river was the {a-Spades} and Watts hit the rail while Borlan collected a decent pot.
