Vuilleumier Gets Shorter; Kalev Gets Bigger

In a three-bet pot with 20,000 each invested to the {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Petar Kalev opted to check. Alexandre Vuilleumier bet 13,000 only to get check-raised almost immediately to 34,000 and Vuilleumier gave it some 15 seconds of consideration before letting go.

Kalev chipped up to join Emil Holmsten and Christoph Csik as a big stack on the table.

Jacobson Picks Off Alberdi

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Spades}, three players were still alive in the hand with around 60,000 in the middle. Both of the blinds checked and Martin Jacobson opted to check the button as well.

The river was the {8-Clubs} and Jorge Alberdi led out with a bet of 53,000 in the small blind. The big blind folded and Jacobson thought for a moment before flicking in the call. Alberdi tabled {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for a missed straight draw and Jacobson showed {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for trip fours.

Chance Kornuth raised it up to 8,000 and Iosif Spulber called on the button. Xuan Liu three-bet to 29,000 in the small blind and Kornuth then announced all-in. Spulber quickly folded and Liu sigh-folded the {a-Hearts} face-up to get shown the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} by Kornuth.

Another four-bet pot saw Ezequiel Waigel with an open raise to 10,000 and Marius Kudzmanas three-bet to 28,000 in the small blind. Waigel four-bet to 45,000 and Kudzmanas folded, getting shown {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} by Waigel.

Bohn Leads Turn

Nikolai Tulin opened from the hijack and Blake Bohn defended out of the big blind.

Bohn checked on the flop of {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Tulin continued for 6,000. Bohn called. Bohn then led out for 25,000 on the {6-Hearts} turn and Tulin laid it down to earn him the pot.

Cowen Chips Up With a Chop

What had started as a six-way limped pot eventually led to the {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts} river. Into a pot of around 75,000, Aaron Olechnowicz bet 50,000 and Robert Cowen quickly called.

Olechnowicz tabled the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Cowen chopped with the {j-Spades}{7-Spades}.

"So many different river outcomes, so many possibilities," Arlie Shaban remarked in the table chat.

Fernandez Downs Lebedynets

Andrii Lebedynets opened to 8,000 in early position and Sergio Fernandez flat-called on the button. They went heads-up to a flop of {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Lebedynets led out with a bet of 12,000. Fernandez called and the {j-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Lebedynets was left with around 45,000 chips and he shipped all in. Fernandez snapped him off and tabled {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a straight. Lebedynets tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for top pair but was drawing dead to the {j-Clubs} on the river.

"Where Are You From?"

Renato Minicuci raised to 9,000 from the hijack and action folded around to Alejandro Herrera in the big blind who moved all in for 98,000.

Action folded back to Minicuci who went into the tank before asking "Where are you from?" to Herrera. Herrera didn't respond. Minicuci folded as the chips went to Herrera. Herrera responded "Spain." to which Matthias Auer said, "You didn't want a call right?" Herrera laughed.

Kovalski's Jacks Take Out Regas

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Pol Regas was all-in for his short stack with Fabiano Kovalski and Joni Jouhkimainen calling in middle position.

Kovalski check-called Jouhkimainen's bet of 13,000 on the {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop before both players checked the {10-Clubs} turn.

Kovalski then led out for 18,000 on the {q-Diamonds} river and Jouhkimainen made the call. Kovalski tabled {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Jouhkimainen mucked his hand.

Regas also slid his cards to the dealer on his way to the rail, as Kovalski added to his stack.
