There was an early position limp followed by a raise to 4,500 by Akash Hotwani in middle position. It then folded to Alan Ammann on the button who put in a cold three-bet to 16,000. It folded all the way back Hotwani who thought over his options for a moment before announcing "all in". Ammann snap called and the cards hit their backs.
Alan Ammann: A♠K♦
Akash Hotwani: Q♠Q♥
The full board ran out 2♥10♥8♠A♣6♣ and with the ace on the turn Ammann would score the double up. Hotwani lost a big one but is still sitting with almost double starting stack.

Players are now on a 15-minute break.
Action was opened in middle position by Jamiel Asghar to 2,000. He got a call from the cutoff and the big blind.
The A♣8♥10♠ flop hit the felt and action checked to Asghar who continued for 3,000. Both players called.
The turn brought a 9♠ and action quickly checked through to a Q♠ river.
The big blind then led out for 7,000. Asghar sat in the tank for a moment before putting in a large raise to 21,000. The cutoff thought for a moment but got out of the way and action was back on the big blind. He shook his head and seemed to have a tough decision but eventually mucked.
Asghar dragged in the pot to give him a healthy stack going into the middle off the day.

Action was opened under the gun to 2,000. There was then a player in early position who went all in for his last 12,300. It folded all the way to Anthony Marini in the big blind who flat called the 12,300 and action was back on the under the gun player. He took his time and eventually went all in for about 27,000. Marini didn't wait long before making the call and the cards hit their backs.
Early Position: Q♦6♦
Under the Gun: A♣J♦
Anthony Marini: 7♥7♣
The KxQx10x flop was a disaster for Marini as his opponent flopped the nut straight. The 7x turn would suddenly bring him some life and board pairing 10x river would give him the win after an absolutley insane runout.
