Action was opened in early position to 700. It folded all the way to Daniel McGinnis on the button who called and the blinds folded.

The 7♣ landed on the turn and the early position player checked again. McGinnis put out another bet of 1,500. The player in early position sat in the tank for about a minute before putting in a turn check-raise to 3,500. McGinnis took his time but eventually called.
The 10♥ river landed and the player in early position led out for another 3,500 bet. McGinnis sat in the tank for about a minute but eventually stuck in the chips and got the good news.

Action was joined on a flop of 6♣9♥7♣. The small blind checked over to Anh Dang in late position, who put out a bet of 1,100. The small blind only thought for a moment before putting in a check-raise to the tune of 3,500. Dang quickly called.
The 2♣ landed on the turn and the small blind open-jammed, having Dang covered. Dang sat in the tank for about 30 seconds before putting in the chips for her tournament life.
The cards hit their backs.
Anh Dang: 6♦7♦
Small Blind: A♠A♥
Dang needed to dodge an Ace, nine, or deuce to get the pure double. The river landed a 4♥ and Dang scooped a big one early.

A player in early position opened to 300. Erica Tauss put in a three-bet to 1,100. The action folded to the small blind, who cold-called and the original raiser came along too.
The players were three ways to a flop of Q♦5♣6♠ and action checked to Tauss, who put out another bet of 1,600. Only the small blind called.
The 7♥ landed on the turn and the small blind check-called another bet from Tauss of 3,000.
The river 9♥ put four to a straight on board and it was checked to Tauss once more. She thought over her options but eventually checked back and saw the good news. The small blind tabled A♣Q♦ for top pair, top kicker and Tauss tabled Q♥Q♣ for a flopped top set.
Tauss scooped the pot to get a much needed influx of chips early on.
