Players have been sent on their second 15-minute break. They will return to blinds of 500/1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante.
Bin Weng opened to 1,600 from the cutoff and was called by a player on the button as well as the big blind.
The big blind checked to Weng on a flop of and he continued for 2,500. That got rid of the button but the big blind came along to see a turn.
Action checked through the turn to the river. The big blind then checked for a third time and before tabling for the flush after Weng, not taking the bait, checked back.

A player opened to 1,800 from middle position and was called by the cutoff as well as James Liddell in the big blind.
Liddell checked following the flop and the middle position player continued for 2,000. That elicited a fold from the cutoff player but Liddell was not going anywhere just yet and made the call.
Both players checked through the turn to see the river at which point Liddell pushed 8,000 into the middle. After some thought, his opponent folded to send the pot Liddell's way.

Shouyi Gao opened to 1,500 from early position and was called by a player on the button. Isiah Ditoto then three-bet to 8,500 out of the small blind only to see Gao respond by four-betting to 20,000. The button player folded to send the action back to Ditoto who moved all in. Gao called with the effective stack to put himself at risk.
Shouyi Gao:
Isiah Ditoto:
Gao was in rough shape, needing to come from behind with a dominated hand to survive. He found immediate help, however, on the flop. Nothing changed on the turn or river to hand Gao a full double while dealing a crippling blow to Ditoto's stack.

Mohammed-Ali Tadjer opened to 2,000 before a player in middle position three-bet to 6,000. Action folded back around to Tadjer who made the call.
Both players checked through the flop to the turn at which point Tadjer took over the betting lead, firing off 4,000. That single bet was enough to force his opponent off their hand and take down a small pot.

Action folded around to James Liddell in the small blind who raised to 2,000. The big blind responded by three-betting to 7,500 only to see Liddell move all in. That sent the big blind deep into the tank as he counted the 20,000 or so remaining chips he would have left were he to fold. Eventually he did commit the rest of his stack to put himself at risk.
Big Blind Player:
James Liddell:
Though no comment was made, it did appear that several players at the table were at the very least taken aback by how long it took the big blind to make the call. Regardless of that fact, however, the at risk player would need to win the most classic of poker races to double up and survive. That outcome became less likely following the flop. Neither the turn or river provided the necessary broadway card for the big blind player, sending him out of the tournament while Liddell collected a sizable pot to go along with the elimination.
