Day 2 Completed
After 14 hours of play on day 2 of Event #11: $2,700 Main Event at the Potomac Winter Poker Open just seven players remain from a starting field of 533. Leading those seven players is Caitlyn Cobb with a big stack of 7,740,000. WSOP bracelet winner Justin Liberto sits second in chips on 5,990,000, despite losing a huge pot against Cobb when he ran his kings into her aces. Christopher Brown rounds out the top three with 3,995,000.
At the start of the day, 99 players took their seat knowing that only the top 54 would see a return on their investment. The field was cut down fairly quickly, setting up bubble play only a couple of levels into the day. Not long after Lara Eisenberg burst the bubble when her ace-king held against the at risk player's ace-ten.

With just a few minutes left in the day's play, Hal Rotholz was sent to the rail in 8th place after Shouyi Gao's fours held against him.
Shortly after that, the remaining seven players bagged up for the night.
