Staursky Wins Flip

Level 21 : Blinds 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Michael Marder opened to 50,000 from the cutoff and was called by a player on the button. William Staursky then moved all in for 337,000 out of the big blind. Marder folded while the button player quickly called with the covering stack to put Staursky at risk.

William Staursky: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Button Player: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Staursky would need his fours to hold to survive and was in a good position for that to happen after the flop came {4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades}. The button player did have a broadway draw, however, so Staursky was not out of the woods yet. The {5-Hearts} turn and {9-Hearts} river completed the board to keep Staursky ahead to give him a big double up.

Cobb Cracks Aces

Level 21 : Blinds 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Picking up the action partway through the hand, Caitlyn Cobb in middle position had her opponent in late position all in and at risk.

Late Position Player: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Caitlyn Cobb: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The at risk player held a commanding lead and looked set to double after the flop came {2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds} followed by the {7-Spades} turn. The {k-Hearts} found its way onto the felt on the river, however, to crush the hopes of the late position player and send a large pot over to Cobb.

Newman Finds a Double

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Caitlyn Cobb opened to 60,000 from early position before Richard Newman moved all in for his last 299,000 from middle position. Action folded back around Cobb who, after some thought, made the call with the covering stack to put Newman at risk.

Richard Newman: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Caitlyn Cobb: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Newman, though at risk, was in a great spot to score a double up and that is exactly what happened after the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} to put a dent in Cobb's stack.

Sevens Hold For Giuliano

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Vincent Giuliano moved all in on the button before a player in the small blind called off with the shorter stack. Justin Liberto quickly vacated the big blind to put the small blind player officially at risk.

Small Blind Player: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Vincent Giuliano: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The small blind player would need to win a race to survive but was unable to connect on the runout to send their remaining chips over to Giuliano.

Mills Gets a Fold

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Kasey Mills opened to 40,000 from the cutoff and was called by Caitlyn Cobb in the big blind.

Cobb checked to Mills after the flop came {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and she continued for 25,000. That did not dissuade Cobb, who made the call to see a turn.

The {q-Spades} turn saw Cobb check for a second time and then fold after Mills fired a second barrel of 100,000.

Elsewhere, Lara Eisenberg and Phong Vip Nguyen were seen heading to the payout desk.

Gao Turns Straight

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

A player opened to 45,000 from early position and was called by a player in late position as well as Shouyi Gao in the big blind.

Gao and the early position player checked following the {4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop and the late position player led out for 50,000. Both of his opponents called to send the action three-handed to the turn.

The {7-Spades} turn saw Gao take over the betting lead, making it 150,000 to go. That got a quick fold from the early position player but the late position player called off for less to put themselves at risk.

Late Position Player: {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Shouyi Gao: {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Gao had turned the straight to leave his opponent's two pair second best. The {2-Hearts} river failed to improve the at risk player, sending them to the rail while Gao collected a pot that sees him eclipse the 1,000,000 mark.

Rollin Doubles Up

Level 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Joseph Rollin moved all in from the cutoff before Lara Eisenberg re-jammed her larger stack on the button. The blinds got out of the way and Rollin was officially at risk.

Joseph Rollin: {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Lara Eisenberg: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Rollin was behind but did have two live cards. He immediately pulled ahead on the {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop with the {j-Spades} turn confirming his double up prior to the meaningless {9-Diamonds} river. Eisenberg, meanwhile, was left with just a few big blinds.
